And right there before your eyes, is the Jarl bloody Ulfric the very same that killed king Torygg, now very resigned to being dragged by his ass, by a man constantly scolding him in a foreign accent. From that day forward you never mix cheese with mead again.

He kind of is. He wanted to be king, he was denied and started a revellion because of it. The story would have been better if Ulfric believed himself to be the Dragonborn and claimed the imperial throne, the current emperor is kind of a usurper after all, and a dragonborn has a much better claim to the throne.

@@wolves600 The guy was tortured and gaslit by the Thalmor, and further enraged by the white gold concordant. The markarth incident fueled his rage. Torygg, as far as Ulfric knew, was in full support of the empire, or at least believed he wasn't strong enough to defend Skyrim like a Nord should.

Reminds me of this one ancient Chinese general who was transporting prisoners when some of them escaped, and the punishment for failing to do his job would have been execution, so instead he rounded up the remaining prisoners and led them as a rebellion force against the emperor, and ended up winning.

Well, this naive man is also trying to enforce his own beliefs on a group of people who wish for self-determination, and freedom from an empire that doesn't represent them, and many of the locals sure aren't happy with this absent empire, banning their religion. The Stormcloaks don't go around killing civilians for being the 'wrong race', but the Empire sure likes killing any civilian on the spot for worshipping the 'wrong deity'. The fact that the Nords and Skyrim doesn't even have an option to leave the Empire peacefully, so that civil war is the only option, tells you even more that's wrong with the Empire. It's a totalitarian state, most 'racist' itself, against everyone who isn't a high elf, considering all the highest positions are held by them. They're like leftists of today: "We're not racist, we just don't want white people to have jobs, money, or political positions, even in countries where they're 95%+ of the racial makeup, because of Holy Diversity."

Vanilla skyrim VR is an unplayable laughable mess. For example, it has no detection for how fast you're swinging a weapon, meaning the optimal way to fight in melee is to dual wield and do a drum roll on the enemy's head. Vanilla skyrim VR is basically "What if they ported Skyrim to the Wii?" The controls and visuals are about on that level.

@@CoRLex-jh5vx You know how in Skyrim, Sheogorath has dialogue that references the events of Oblivion, as a nod to how the Hero of Kvatch became Sheogorath in the Shivering Isles DLC? One of the things he mentions is a Fox (note the capital F) which is a reference to the Gray Fox, meaning that the HoK was in the Thieves' Guild! If there's a connection between Brynjolf and Sheogorath, this might be the place to look for it...

I really like that he just walks along willingly as soon as you start pulling him. Also, as an avid mover-of-bodies for ambient/decor purposes, the ass _is_ the most grab-and-draggable part.

I can't get over the mental image of Simon just walking into the Palace of the Kings, grabbing Ulfric by the shirt, and dragging him out while lecturing him, much to the shock and confusion of poor Galmar Stone-Fist and the Windhelm guard.

Gods bless the modding community with this game. They create some true gems. Video opens on you dragging Ulfric by the back of his cloak, like some naughty child, away from Wildhelm on a cross country trip to Solitude, and I'm immediately giggling. And you're doing this in VR. Beautiful.

Oh man I wish Fallout 4 had PLANCK and HIGGS, but alas it does not. It does have FRIK, which is wonderful even in it's alpha phase, but that's the only one of the big three that has made it's way to Fallout 4.
