Just paints what Liverpool, United and Arsenal have done to this league - they have been the architects to creating these rules and Everton happily went along with it because they were happy with what they were getting fb out of it in terms of revenue at the time. PL have a shit load of money, so that argument about resources is nonsense. City are actually arguing for a fairer system essentially than the current one which is geared to keep those at the top.
