James is from South Carolina LOL. James said he's from New Jersey because New Jersey is where Kool And The Gang recorded their albums. James Taylor, The Jacksons(RIP Michael Jackson), Luther Vandross(RIP), Florence Ballard of The Supremes(RIP), Midnight Star, Cameo, Zapp(RIP Roger Troutman), Beyonce Knowles are my favorite black music singers.
