Do so, it's criminally underrated, and really brings out strong reactions (love/hate) in people. It's a punkish gem of a film.

Imagine this narrator went on to be the universal trailer voice. Trailers would be treated with the same disdain as 3am infomercials. And bad nature docs watched in science class circa '92.

When I was 13, this was the very first videocassette I ever rented from the store. I convinced my parents to rent it for me. It had way more gore than I was used too. I remember thinking it was cool but I suspect it would look unbelievably cheesy today.
@JohnSmith-zl8rz6 жыл бұрын
not cheesy at all, the movie still keeps a good atmosphere of the 90s underground scene.

Part of its charm. Much like Videodrome, which still has interesting physical FX. Never heard of this one, tho.
@gutz3232 жыл бұрын
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 I saw this as a kid. I think at the time it was famous for what movie makers can do with a nearly zero budget. If you can ignore the terribly wooden acting, it's pretty good from what I can remember. It's pretty much all filmed in one room in an apartment if I remember correctly.

Saw this opening night and was one of three people in the normally packed theater. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. I too noticed it was added to Netflix recently, so I gave it another try from a much older perspective (18 vs 42 years old). I can say, I appreciate it now for what it was.
