Thanks for a nice first impression video! I purchased the S model about 6 months ago and while it's the most expensive bike I've ever owned, it is by far the best. Only thing you may find lacking is usable range as the fuel light comes on somewhere around 85 miles. 😂 Also you commented on heated grips: the button is there yes but they must be fitted as an option. Also the aftermarket akra exhaust is ridiculously expensive but the sound it makes afterwards is pretty awesome! All things considered, it is simply an amazing ride! Looking forward to your comparison with the Super Duke R.

@Bazza47
@Bazza47 3 жыл бұрын
I guess you've never dropped your keys at a petrol station then spent the next 10 minutes panicking trying to find them like I have then! A lot of riders have no other keys with it which makes it easier to loose plus of course if commuting bike thieves are known to come up next to you at the lights, steal your keys and then ride off hoping you'll leave your bike at the roadside so they can then steal it with the aid of another gang member spotting for them. I've had it on my last 2 GS' and like it, though I would agree it's not much use unless the fuel cap is keyless too. It's more convenience than anything, if you've never had it you're probably not bothered but once you do have it keyless becomes a nice to have.

I don't buy into the bollocks regarding the fuel sensor. You could have capacitance sensors at different points down the tank and each one cleared would drop a bar. Accuracy would depend upon how many you fit, but for thick end of 20K Ducati should be able to fit quite a few.

@@ashleyreynolds6604 Flow sensors are as accurate as staring into a crystal ball. To get accuracy better than +-3% you need sensors that probably cost as much as the bike. Most flow sensors are nearer +- 6% and you need two meaning it would be entirely feasible to be 10% out which, could be a long push to the garage. Volume calculation is accurate if done well and not that hard.

I’ve had slow bikes (most notably a Moto Guzzi V7) and I would much prefer to ride a fast bike slowly- better suspension, brakes, and more flexible power bands. The cliche about slow bikes fast is so boring to hear.

Come on Mr Flyer.... you need a few hours in the saddle to find out how comfortable a bike is surely. Another awesome, rich persons plaything, that has no practical use on the road or indeed the track for most of us. Are you going to buy one for the TMF man cave ?.... Thought not. Keep up the good work love your videos. On a personal note, having owned Gixxers, S1000R, Tuono V4 Factory, Africa Twin etc. etc. The only bike I've ever kept for more than 18 months is my 3 YO Street Triple 765 RS, I still love this bike, for me it does so many things so well, also loving my Zero SR/S the most practical bike I've ever owned and a scream to ride.

I have a 2021 Dark Stealth S.F. with Akra upgrade and MAP, tidy tail. radiator guards , Cluster fearing and gas tank guard. BIGGEST complaint, gas consumption. O well, if you want too play , you got too pay. The bike react differently in race mode, WAY more aggressive. Only 800 miles, NOT broken it, so I'm taking it easy until I get over 1,000 miles. EXTREMELY comfortable compared to my 2017 Panigale 1299S. Ride safe and enjoy ..

Thanks Andy for another informative video. Being old school to me the Ducati was a big thumping twin, but I know the times have changed and the Ducati has grown two extra pots and lost the thump. This one seems quite zippy, but I don’t like the idea of the Speedo fuzzing out when you give it a fist full lolol. Thanks again from Down Under 😎😎🐝

Great review as always but I still can't get my head around that headlight looks like someone's pushed it down too far & the clock's look like they have just been stuck on to high up even though they haven't but that's what it looks like as the headlight is too far down & certainly wind blast for sure!! 👎🏻 But apart from that it looks awesome!! 👍🏻

Crikey could this be a Ducati that doesn't need bits substituted straight off the Dealer floor! Plush? Ducati! A full fairing appeals to me so much more than a naked. And that steering damper afterthought? But hey, what a point and squirt machine, so satisfying to pass the trundling tin cans swiftly and safely. A great start then Andy. Look forward to watching that it continues to exceed expectations and the classic Ducati niggles which seemed to never change, are a thing of the past.
