Brilliant ! I was going potty trying to get gears off. The only thing I couldn't do was hold the drum still whilst undoing nut. You put something in drum hole where grease nipple is. I did that and it still went round!

You've got a green tash mate! I'm gonna get a bit technical here, I don't want to worry you but the enamel is cellulose based, 2k or 2 pak is resin or acrylic with a catalyst and different thinner, cellulose takes ages to fully evaporate and the paint to truly harden whereas 2k takes hours. Putting 2k over cellulose paint might come back to bite your butt with the lacquer lifting due to cellulose getting trapped under the resin lacquer, I'm not saying it can't be done but it takes time or baking in an oven before the 2k is applied. Ask me how I know! Custom motorcycle tank finished in 2k to protect it from fuel, 12 months on the laquers lifting 😥 gotta do it again.

rollers probabley took longer to dry being thicker steel and holds the cold more unlike the thin tin also getem out of shade putthem up by the window green house effect

Im almost ready for painting my Mark4. your video really helped me. I decided to buy a brand new bed knife from a manuafcturer. cant wait to receive it! As for the reel blades, did you sharpen after paint and assembled ? I couldn't find that part in your videos. I assume you did backlapping way ?

I enjoyed that mate. As you know not a great fan of the vintage cylinders niche but I can see myself at some point being swayed lol. All came up a treat they did. Get yourself a 240V backlapping unit for all them bloody cylinders !! Lol. Take care brother 👍🏻🔧
