Denis Sosis To be fair, I actually think Doug Walker's protracted karaoke tantrum beats both of them in just being so horrendously mean-spirited and intellectually and emotionally empty in addition to being bland and incompetent and barely an "album" in any meaningful way. At least Angelic 2 the Core is morbidly funny and compelling in its failed ambition and Total Xanarchy is a trivial nothing of a record by a dweeby kid.

The losing party is described in a highly flattering and impressive way while the winning party is described in an insulting or belittling way. The joke is that the one which has been portrayed as lame and weak is actually the winner. In this case, Fantano roasted a bunch of music artists. So I described the music artists in a way that made them sound impressive, and Fantano as if he were nothing to take seriously, hence the irony.

I think every other album here (save for A2tC and maybe Dead Pets where they seemed to actually want to make something special) is so inauthentic and low effort and insulting to the creative process that it's hard to look at a cry for help like SB2H and think "this should go in between supermarket and total xanarchy"

Cudi wasn't on the list lol I think Speedin' Bullet grew on Fantano a little, it has a few good songs and it's much more important in Cudi's discography after him going through rehab and the world really seeing how many demons that dude had to fight.

My favourite thing about Angelic 2 the Core is how it’s *so* frighteningly bad, on *so* many levels, that you can’t help but find some genuine entertainment in it. Despite being one of the worst albums I’ve heard in my entire life, I have never once been bored by it. In that sense, it really is like The Room - it’s awful by every metric, yet I’m so happy it was made.

I feel some inkling of sadness for Imagine Dragons. They were the first band I really liked and bought albums of. In my mind their EP songs, Night Visions and Smoke&Mirrors will always be these really nice pop rock songs Middle school me loved to death. I think that Radioactive led them on a bad path. Or, maybe it was the fact that Believer became a massive hit in the dance clubs? For me, the issue is that the vocals were always the #1 priority and the music felt like it didn't matter at all. Whether they play jazz, reggae, metal, hip-hop, edm, or skiffle doesn't matter. It's like the reverse of Justin Bieber, where you get the sense that his vocals are so boring that the music is what matters most because his voice just fits with everything because he's not interesting enough to clash with anything. With Imagine Dragons, the voice has so much power and emotion that it completely overpowers everything.

only recently I have become seriously interested in music, and about a week ago I listened to the wall for the first time, and since then could not stop listening to it. Art is subjective sure, but the fact that someone not only dislikes the wall, but makes an entire album about how they dislike it, and on top of that taint and drag the songs through the mud personally hurts me.

It's unfortunate that a majority of the albums on this list are rap, because despite rap giving us some terrible albums this past decade, it also gave us some of the greatest, most beautiful albums of all time

Six feet under is more like the Coal chamber of death metal IMO. Not in terms of popularity, just the fact that they write the most basic ass songs and use their genre's tropes and aesthetic as a crutch

I'm around 25 years old and I remember having a Myspace account back in summer of 2007. Mine having Chimpchar from 2006's Pokemon Diamond and Pearl also Want I've Done/My December by Linkin Park. What I've Done? was released alongside 2007's 11/10 blockbuster Transformers(prior to myself realizing those films were shit as a teenager in 2009-2015( of 13-19). The Krunk rap from the mid to late 2000s like Lil Jon 2004 Yeah(times three), Riding Dirty 2004/2005, anything from Big Sean or Nelly Futado, and Akon featuring Snoop Winding and Grining Up on The Pole song. Yes I do recall that era. Especially remember in grade three participating in a dance club at school. Some kids were trying to do 1980/2000 break-dancing/hip-hop moves to Lil Jon's Yeah Yeah Yeah prior to it being a call back song like 2014-2019/Jimmy Fallon doing a country version to it. Those kids dance moves inspired me for a little while during as a pre-teen. I'd thought I was so cool watching a Kangaroo Jack how to dance video(a feature on 2006's Kangaroo Jack's DVD to the 2003's crappy-fest film that's somewhat inspired by Crocodile Dundy from 1986).
