Wanna know what to look for when picking out your Goldendoodle puppy? There are so many things to look for when choosing your puppy, and even signs to watch out for to pick the goldendoodle that is right for you! In this video I'm answering your biggest questions on how to pick your goldendoodle puppy, by doing the research and going through the process of bringing Theo, our F1B mini goldendoodle home, and wanted to share what all I learned about goldendoodles during this time! Hopefully this video helps you pick out the perfect puppy for your family! We know we couldn't have been happier with our little dood!

I wish those who choose to go to a breeder didn’t have to justify themselves for their choice or be shamed for their choice. To me, if you want a dog from a breeder, you shouldn’t need to have a reason that would satisfy others. If you want one purely because of aesthetics, for example, get one! As long as someone does their research to try and find a reputable breeder, the rest is up to you. I’ll always choose to get a dog from a reputable show/sport dog breeder (for my preference, and I don’t have shame in this anymore 😆) and encourage those who feel pressured by “adopt don’t shop” that it’s ok to go with a breeder so they can equally look at both options and decide what would be best for them. Glad you ended up with the right dog for you, no matter what option you would have gone with! That’s a main point in what helps keep dogs out of shelters.

I know, right! An SJW friend of mine pressured me to adopt. I've considered that option before and explained to her, multiple times, my reason for not adopting: most of the local shelter's population consist of breeds more suitable to living far from the inner city. Meanwhile, my fiancé and I live in downtown London. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. The living preference of each available dog is mentioned in the shelter website, and I happen to check the website pretty frequently. Cause hey- shelter dogs are free, and breeders are hella expensive. Might get lucky. Another reason is that, I'm a first time dog owner. Oftentimes, shelter dogs with a rough start in life require more experienced owners. So, as much as I ADORE the staffies and bully breed, I won't be able to give those dogs their best life.

We can't find one. We love dogs. Our dog Abella has a GI disease and she can longer get up and down stairs. Sad. She is such a leveling dog. My son is epi-ed with shedding dogs. We are so devastated that we may have to put her to sleep. She gets excited when she see other dogs. Can you help us find one and affordable.

Christine Guralski Hi! I am currently looking for Goldendoodles puppies as well, we found some breeders you might want to consider. I did the research and heard from friends that these breeders are trustable and breed their Goldendoodles with love. You may wanna check out Crockett doodles, and Lakeside doodles. If anyone has any more recommendations I would also really like some breeders,

Eagle Cross Kennel’s in Canfield Ohio is a very good breeder. I work there and Greg the owner is a great person. He cares very much for his dogs and he cares very much for the employees and expects us to take the best care of the dogs no matter what. I highly recommend this kennel.

Great advise, we should be getting a Australian labradoodle at the end of June. Pups should be born 4/30/21, We're going to surprise the kids.

Hi Sabrina, I have a question hopefully you can help me with it. I found a dog breeder, but they have an agreement form. On the agreement they ask the buyer to feed the puppy the same brand of food for 1 year to insure the puppys health. Is this normal for a breeder to ask and have this type of agreement? Can this mean the puppy can have health issues in the future?

My puppy did the same he was not affectionate in beginning in fact he wanted nothing to do with me but I picked him up and he gave me a warm hug that I couldn’t leave him another thing he hadn’t been played with at all by others in the boutique we got him from so that was a plus he had just got there and I was the first to get him now he is 4 months still with wavy hair has lost his teeth Adult teeth coming now

Love your videos-especially with Theo! LOL. We just got a mini Goldendoodle 5 days ago, he's almost 9 weeks old now. Ours was going to the door the last two days, now is having a bit of a setback, but I know it takes time. How did you potty-train Theo? And, how long did it take for Theo?

Ollies Mom great questions! I think I answered these in one of his pupdate videos so check my channel! For Theo it was about 3 months in our house and about 4 months in other people’s (but we got him at 2 months) we didn’t use pee pads so check out that other video where I explain in more detail or maybe I’ll shoot a whole video on this if there’s interest.

Simply Sabrina I thought I looked at all Theo videos. Sorry, I must have missed it. Anyway, my little guy is 12 weeks now and has been potty trained a couple of weeks now. He barks at the door. Just love him!

I’ve wanted a goldendoodle for 4+ years but I don’t know if the puppies I found are from a good breeder, so do u have any recommendations of any breeders in or close to TN or how to see if the puppy is from a good Breeder, ty also Theo is so cute!

Usually a good breeder will have your puppys medical records and will focus on one breed they breeder will also keep you posted on your puppys progress with videos and pictures of your puppy also a good breeder will let you see the mom and dad and will tell you about their medical history of they don't let you see the mom AND dad and are just acting over all shady they must likely are back yard breeders and aren't any good.

I want to adopt a GoldenDoodle for my family and thank you for your input. I have a question though I was told that f1 goldendoodles are non hypoallergenic. So what is the code for an non hypoallergenic?

F1 goldendoodles are hypoallergenic because they are half poodle and half golden retriever. BTW most of the time any dog that is mixed with a poodle is hypoallergenic or the she'd way less then the original breed by its self.

How big is Theo now and is his current weight. i'm interested to buy a golden doodle and I am torn between choosing a miniature or medium size. i definitely do not want a standard size. I love Theo size. He is a perfect size. Can you please help me.

He looks like a medium but that might be because he is slightly over weight but he looks pretty small to me especially for a boy.

Hi quick question , I’m buying a F1b goldendoodle the mom is a F1 English goldendoodle and the dad is a Standard poodle . Puppies are 6 days old right now and the puppies will be F1B English goldendoodles my question is right now puppies have straight hair . I want mine to be curly does there hair change as they grow? Will they be curly hair or straight hair someone please help thank you

Angelica Ev Hi! I am pretty sure the fur will start to curl up. I have a neighbor with a dog that came with straight hair and now she is very curly, it really depends on the parents and puppy.

Are you sure he is a MINI doodle?? He is a healthy mini! Maybe it is because you are sitting...I thought he was a healthier standard 😲 He is beautiful though!

Gravity Works I’m sure lol. His siblings are 25-35 pounds. I was there where we picked him out. He’s just a very large mini. Much closer to a standard size
