I'm glad you read the lyrics, misspellings and all. Back in the day, you bought OZZY's album and the lyrics were all on the liner sleeve. That’s how you knew there was more to Ozzy than biting a head off of a bat. (It was an accident, btw) That guitarist was Randy Rhoads, one of the best guitarists ever!!! He was killed in 1982 at the age of 25 in a plane crash. He studied classical guitar and mixed it with heavy metal to create the soaring solos you liked so much. Who knows what he would have done if he had lived. Ramdy's death almost destroyed OZZY because they were such close friends. Both the Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman Albums are full of bangers!! RIP Randy.

Oh man, that was hilarious. Loved the early spell check on "abored", fellas! I was 11 years old when this album came out in 1981 and bought it immediately. It was from his first solo album after leaving Black Sabbath. His guitarist was Randy Rhoads, who was considered one of the best on the planet. Then died in a plane accident soon after, leaving all us metalheads very sad. Luckily I have these fun reaction videos to cheer me up 41 years later.

Ozzy's voice is unique, and his lyrics are never superficial, BUT #1 He always had the best musicians. In Sabbath or Solo the band was the best of the best. Crazy Train features Randy Rhoads, he was classically trained and added musical influences to the sound that Operatic and Classical Music KZfaq reactors marvel at to this day. This song and the music stands the test of time Randy sadly died in 1982 at age 25. Another rock n roll star dies way too young.

Ozzy is a huge history buff. A lot of metal is about history. The lead singer of Iron Maiden is actually a history professor. A lot of metal is about social injustice, including race injustice, war. Listen to Rage against the Machine, read up on whst "Killing in the name of.." is before you listen to it. They have a couple other ones, too.
@m3ntyb
@m3ntyb Жыл бұрын
It PAINS me to watch people listen to rock, punk, metal and believe it's just about childish rebellion, but it means the smear propaganda worked. That people think Ozzy coined himself the prince of darkness and that the demonizing of his character wasn't a direct response to songs like war pigs is exactly why we have not united to reclaim justice. That these men can react to RATM and miss all the lyrics and never bother to look them up or listen to anything else, lyrics so incredibly relevant, is why they didn't progress much unity. Exploring music is not just fun and games, it's deep education and history lessons, which is why channels like this are so awesome, but also often disappointing.

"Diary of a Madman" by Ozzy Osbourne is another masterpiece. Randy Rhoads was Ozzy's first guitar player in his solo band, performing on Ozzy's first two solo albums; also responsible for the guitar in "Crazy Train." Every one of Randy Rhoads' performances is a master class in guitar virtuosity and songwriting. However, "Diary of a Madman" is Randy Rhoads' magnum opus, in my opinion. He tragically died in a plane crash during the "Diary of a Madman" tour.

The guitar in this song was played by Randy Rhodes, one of the great innovators of guitar. He was the only guitarist to rival Eddie Van Halen (in technical prowess on the fretboard). Sadly his life was cut short when he died in a plane crash. Ozzy Ozbourne has talked about how devastating his death was for him personally as they were more than just bandmates, they were good friends.

This song is amazing and y'all's reaction is priceless! You have got to hear THE OFFSPRING. Probably their best song is "Gone Away" about the pain of someone dying and how they'd trade places if they could. "Come Out and Play" is another awesome Offspring song. And get this: the lead singer, Dexter, has a PhD in Molecular Biology! So one very smart guy!

@@celliet5780 That's an awesome album! I love the Offspring! One if my very favorite bands, and I'd love to see them listen to some of their songs and watch their videos. Their new stuff is really good also. But the 90s stuff takes me back to the music we listened to as teens. Just too good not to be appreciated. They might like "Pretty Fly fir a White Guy" as well

Oh, and I forgot to mention: Dexter also started his own Hot Sauce 🌶🌶 company! I bought my husband a set with three different ones in there. I think it's called Gringo Hot Sauce or something. So Dexter is: 1) Lead singer, 2) Molecular Biologist and 3) creator of Hot Sauce company 😀

That's exactly why you should use lyric videos for all first reactions. If someone want's you to react to a live performance or a music video (for the video itself) and you haven't heard the song, use a lyric video for your first reaction. So many people miss so much of songs they react to because they don't catch the lyrics.

OZZY OSBOURNE: THURSDAY MARCH 18TH 1982: RANDY RHOADS LAST SHOW AT THE KNOXVILLE CIVIC COLISEUM: DIARY OF A MADMAN TOUR: Upon entering the coliseum after buying my tour shirt and ticket 🎫 stub processing: I noticed the stage was set up like a medieval castle with arches and bats 🦇 flying around the top of them. There was a staircase leading up to Tommy Aldridge’s Drumkit. The top left of Tommy was where Donny Airey’s keyboards were set up. Stage right and left had to cages with which Randy Rhoads would appear from the floor stage right and Rudy Sarzo stage left. OZZY had a throne of which he would appear out of to start the show to Over the Mountain. Tommy had his drum tech dressed as an Executioner stand beside his kit with his arms crossed. The staircase had a small section that would open and a small dwarf named: Ronnie (after Ronnie James Dio the new singer for Black Sabbath-replacing OZZY) and hand OZZY towels and water between songs. Little did we all know that later in the show: the executioner would bring the dwarf out to be hung from the rafters and later he would cut off his head using a guillotine! At the end of the show OZZY climbed onto a giant mechanical hand that OZZY stood on top of and launched unspecified meat 🥩 🍖 into the audience! Of course it was all an a theatrical act as the dwarf appeared to take a bow with OZZY and the band. When OZZY smiled we noticed he put vampire 🧛‍♀️ teeth in! We laughed hard! I went to the show with my friend Richard and his older brother Greg who was 18 at the time. We were 13. Greatest show on earth! Richard and I were both terrified and thrilled at what we witnessed! Unfortunately the next morning all that excitement and energy was gone as we learned that Randy Rhoads perished in a plane crash in Florida. Richard and I played drums but Greg played guitar 🎸 and he definitely took it the hardest! One of the greatest guitarist of our generation and had just won the new guitarist of the year by Guitar Player magazine. Rest In Peace Randy Rhoads your music lives on! Sincerely, Gary Lagstrom RONNIE THE DWARF: PLAYED BY JOHN ALLEN: HUNG DURING GOODBYE TO ROMANCE HEAD CUT OFF BEFORE LAST SONG: PARANOID
