I read this somewhere but I may word myself wrong But when rappers freestyle, specially rappers like Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, Rakim etc all the stuff they said has already been said before. Wether in the studio recording an album or for fun with the gang in the studio. Everything is all in their head, so when Eminem did this freestyle half of it he already knew what to say and the other half is on the spot Something like that I read about freestyles

I'm a 55 yr old grandma and I love to watch you guys in these videos. Y'all crack me the hell up. When I first heard Em it was because of my kids. I pretty much brought them up on MY music from the 80's, so when they became teenagers I allowed them to listen to what ever they wanted. You can't tell a person what to like....everyone is different. So....here comes Em.....and as you can guess.....at first I'm like WTF.....I ain't listening to this shit.....trashing women.....calling them bitches....nope....can't do it. BUT....when I reminded myself to have an open mind....and just listen......it was like getting high for the first time. I was hooked. I looked past the "bitches and Ho's" and let the flow go where it may. Now I am a die hard Em fan....the man is a walking dictionary...he's like a possessed Webster's with a beat. I actually, just the other day, showed my GRANDKIDS his Godzilla video. (It's our little secret...he he)....and they were blown away. So now I'm introducing my grandbabies to Em. The Eminem journey goes hard, deep and diverse, from his MM LP classics to his brilliant diss tracks (The Warning, Hail Mary, Canibitch, Bully, Killshot) to his latest epic shizzles (The Ringer, Zeus, Lucky You, Not Alike, Alfreds Theme, Book of Rhymes, Zeus, Godzilla, Gnat, Tone Deaf) and some insane collabs in between (Calm Down and I'll Hurt You, both with Busta for example), he's always spazzing!!! @@tofuteh2348 lol, do you think any rapper worth a damn hasn't pre-rehearsed 99% of their bars from years of rhymes and rhyme schemes they've previously sketched out and gone over with in their own heads hundreds of times before spitting them out in a real situation? Some of the greats catalogue them in their brain before ever writing them down and some of the greats need the visual cues of their own words, written down, in order to make the most sense of them and committing them to memory for later use. It's all his own shit and it's not recycled, so what's the matter?
@mississa2
@mississa2 2 жыл бұрын
In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Eminem talks about how people always say that nothing rhymes with the word Orange. “…it kind of pisses me off because I can think of a lot of things that rhyme with orange. If you're taking the word at face value, and you just say 'orange', nothing is going to rhyme with it exactly. If you enunciate it and make it more than one syllable, or-ange, you can say, like, I put my or-ange, four inch, door hinge in storage and ate porr-idge with George." Eminem is a certified word nerd. He reads the dictionary for the same reason gun enthusiasts buy their ammo in bulk. He wants access to the largest arsenal available. He isn’t just a good rapper, he is a true rap fan. He knows who came before him, and the way that each of their contributions helped to shape and mold hip hop. He has the respect of the biggest and oldest names in the business. He has a deep respect for the ones who influenced him, and even had a close and personal relationship with Afeni Shakur (Tupac’s mother). Even if you have listened to Eminem since “My name is”, you’d still have a hard time truly understanding the impact he’s had on the industry. Just so you know, you should just start out knowing that even if you spent 50 years watching, listening and reading everything related to him, it still wouldn’t be long enough to discover every Easter egg and pick out every bar. But you would enjoy trying, I guarantee that!

Wonder why it seems harder for you guys, who are native english speakers :D But even so, just listen multiple times and after a while you can learn how he thinks when he's writing and even songs for me that I heaard 15 years ago, I can still relisten to some and get new stuff/meaning from his words. Em was and pretty much still is one of if not the biggest thing in rap and the way he respects the MC’s and artist that are doing it right is a big and powerful as his lyrics. He doesn’t seem like he’s cocky and let shit go to much to his head. He will even let the less known cats blow and he will take a step back into the background to not over shadow them so they can get their just due.

2:06 drives me insane bro. I mean, I'm a Moroccan dude living in France in a 15k ppl town lost in middle of nowhere and I know who is Denaun Porter aka Kon Artis from D12. The fact that some black homies don't know who he is blows my mind for real. D12 being Eminem's band they were very successful

Its an honor to hear Eminem rap cuz he's on a different wave length. No matter what he's talking about or visually creating in your head, he just does it with a deep level of skill and appreciation for the art completely

"Everybody get up, sit up christopher, were miserable without you, superman is a- live and his flowing like the mystic river" Christopher played the first superman, and he was in a wheelchair after falling off a horse. With the irony of "superman" ending up in a wheelchair. Eminem always bagged on him. Telling him to sit up knowing damn well he cant lol RIP Christopher.

I grew up in Detroit and got guitar lessons for a while from a guy that used to work in the studio with Eminem. What he had to say was basically that the man has demons. He's brilliant, cares a lot about people and has a good heart, but he's perpetually haunted by both his past and his present at all times.

React to Dr Dre feat Eminem "Forgot About Dre" Official Music Video!!! This song was around the time when Eminem first started back in 1999 and Dre signed him. I just think you should start your Eminem journey from the 90s. I wanna repeat, the song and video was from 1999, cuz people who react to it keep thinking it was made when the video was posted on KZfaq and it's super annoying 😂

For me. Em is right next to wu tang. I will never forget when I came home from school. I'm 30 now I was 9 or 10. I was beat all to hell. I got my ass kicked. My big sister(she raised us) asked me what happen. Gave me a bowl of ice cream. Showed me wu and Eminem. I went back to school that Monday and threw my first punch back. I spent all weekend with my headphones on and they never left. I woke up like neo I knew Kung fu. I owe finding my self worth and confidence to the wu Eminem and hip hop in general
