Where did you hear that? Like in the catechism or somewhere specific? I’m just curious! He mentioned he is Catholic and married to a woman (Annette) with 4 kids 25:00 . I’m not sure if you meant man and man relationship (cannot marry) or if you meant a person who struggles with same sex attraction (can marry opposite sex, as long as it isn’t a predominant/exclusive attraction to same sex). Catechism section 2357-2359 might help clarify a bit

@@justenaugustine5954 It is because if you want to marry validly you also have to be able to live a marriage which of course includes sex. If I had to marry a man if possible the marriage is invalid because I could fulfill my obligation to have sex because I am not attracted. He is SSA and therefore had to "force" himself to marry a woman which would be invalid. So from an offical standpoint his marriage is not valid.

@@philippbosnjak4183 ohhhhhh you’re talking about validity under the church (sacramentally) , I would agree with you regarding validity (sacramentally) based on limited info I know on that. I’m not sure what you mean by “force”. Is there a time stamp they mentioned that he was forced to marry his wife? Or is this something under SSA that I’m missing? Catholic Church teaches the marriage would be invalid if the person is of the same sex, regardless if by force or not. You’re right, It also teaches that by force (not of your own free will) of marrying someone of opposite sex, it would be invalid as well.

@@justenaugustine5954 If he really is not attracted to women then he had to force himself to marry a woman. Imagine like that: I could not marry a man because I am not attreacted to them so I had to force myself to do that. He basically forced himself to marry a woman althoguh he probably has no natural inclination to do so but a marriage is only valid of your choice was free not somehow forced.

@@philippbosnjak4183 where in the video did he say he wasn’t attracted to women at all? Someone can be attracted to both sexes. As he mentioned in the video, it was lustful attraction which is just as bad as someone having a lustful attraction to their neighbors goods, which is a desire that does not have to be acted on. I wouldn’t be forcing myself not to steal. Choosing to make the right decision, yes. I guess you can say he forced himself but i don’t see where he mentioned he wasn’t attracted to women

No. A Christian's one and only identity is that of a beloved child of God. Any person who identifies themselves with the LGBTQ-agenda/movement is in grave sin and is offending the love of God, by forsaking his Word.

Understand what it means to be made in the image of God: it means you are representing the Creator, this is your God-given purpose in life. Every part of our life corresponds to some spiritual truth of God, and sexuality is the most vulnerable spiritual truth about God's love. This Love is defined by the love between a man and a woman, who by coming together in the sexual act lay themselves down for the creation of new beings. The image the Bible gives for Christ and the Church is that of a Bridegroom and a Bride waiting to come together and consume their love. So, behaviors like murdering, lying, stealing, deviated sexuality is staining God's image. The fact that these urges exist is due to the fallen nature of demons who wake up such urges in us. They are very alluring, but never fulfilling. A man having sex with a man would never fulfill their needs. But the attraction still exists I guess, so what is there to be done? Jesus Christ invites us to lay down our lives in order to win Life, and to take up our cross and follow Him. This means a life of suffering, the kind of suffering that precedes the birthing of something new and most precious. So it's either homosexuals live a lie OR they choose to stand up against the powers of darkness and suffer until they are saved. Suffering is something we all want to avoid, but on this Earth it's the only reality worth living, for in it we find the Love of God, who is suffering with us, until the coming of the Bridegroom. ✝️
