The Enclaves base in Fallout 76 just proves that they could have hidden bunkers and bases all over the entire wasteland. There’s no way they’re entirely gone.

It would stupid on Bethesda's part if they just ignored the Enclave in a future game. Given the resources at the Enclave's disposal before the war, they probably built vaults and bunkers all over the country. I wouldn't be surprised if they even had another oil rig in the Gulf coast.

Remember this; in Fallout, Mexico and Canada are annexed and are apart of the U.S. Almost the entire North American continent Is a part of the U.S, that's a lot of territory and ground to cover. To say that the * entire * Enclave was destroyed is a bit of a far stretch

I wonder if Enclave remnants will run into Institute remnants in the future of Fallout. From a Technological standpoint, they would be nearly unstoppable if they joined forces.

It’s pretty cool how according to a map on the oil rig in fallout 2, the enclave also has outposts in other continents like Europe.

ok so in fallout 2, the enclave were the definitive bad guys, and the bis were the definitive good guys in fallout 3, the enclave started to become more neutral, eden was still evil, but the enclave as a whole was a bit more grey in fallout 4 we see the bos starting to tip into the evil side I think it would be really cool, if we saw a full role reversal in fallout 5, with the enclave playing the role of the heroes, and the bos playing the role of the villans

I'd love an enclave redemption ark in a future game. All the remnants come together to right the wrongs and help the wasteland whilst battling preconceived notions from the past. To see the enclave evolve and use their knowledge to right the wrongs would be amazing.

The Enclave has always been my favorite faction! I have been mad that I could never join them!

I see a lot of comments and replies how the enclave is evil. But when you look at the concept of good and evil it is entirely based upon what side you are on.

My take on the enclave coming back is either taking power in the east or Midwest like Chicago or (my personal favorite way) is that enclave personal slowly infiltrate the ncr military and even it’s council since it’s there’s no clear cut way to identify an enclave personnel (unless I’m wrong please correct me).

The Enclave were RIGHT in FO2 and 3. In FO2 without survivor they would have been the ONLY faction who could beat the Master. In FO3 they were the only ones AGAIN capable of beating the Mutants. We know the Brotherhood lost because of "Remember the Citadel" in FO4. This is irregardless of the fact that using the virus how they intended would have killed off all mutants and removed all radiation. Meaning humanity, while it would lose a lot of people, would be safe from pretty much everything that makes the fallout universe so bad. They would actually be able to rebuild rather than just survive.

I do not see them as the bad guy because colonel autumn isn't that bad. He just wants to use the purifier to enforce the social contract

I mean America is a big place they could be hiding in Texas or Florida, which in our timeline are home to multiple military bases. Plus, there’s the Pantex Plant, where we assembly our nuclear weapons.

If Colonel Autumn returned in the next Fallout game after 76, as the leader of the Enclave faction, that would be cool, specifically if the Enclave faction became protagonists instead of antagonists. That would make Colonel Autumn, (who hopefully learned a lot from Fallout 3) a good guy. This would be quite a plot twist and a nice look on things from the Enclave's previous portrayal in the other Fallout games.

The Places We Haven’t Seen That Make The Most Sense For The Enclave To Have A Base Is: A. Mount Rushmore B. Alaska Specifically Anchorage. C. Northern Washington D. Dallas C. Hawaii (DLC)

Would be dope if there's an Enclave remnant in like Hawaii or something since in real life we have like 8 bases including Pearl Harbor on Oahu alone Correction, 8 major bases that are large and notable enough to be put on a map. 👀 There are a number of bunkers here too like the Naval Communications and NSA Bunkers and a bunch of old ones in a lot of mountains from WW2, maybe the US Military expanded these bunkers and facilities instead of mothballing them after WW2, or maybe they reactivated them? Diamond Head Crater is a notable example since it's basically the tropical version of what Big MT looks like, with a number of tunnels and bunkers which used to support the Coastal Artillery regiment during the interwar and WW2 years. There's still a National Guard Depot and a Civil Defense Coordination Center in the crater, with tunnels and roads that are off limits to visitors since you can hike the mountain. All I'm saying is, if there's anywhere where the Enclave should still have a massive foothold, or even just a remnant of the US Military since Hawaii is the headquarters of a number of commands including that of the Pacific Fleet, it would be here in Hawaii. It's the closest state to China, at least if you ignore Alaska, definitely has the largest US Military presence in the Pacific that is within a state (unlike Guam, a territory, or Japan), and has a storied history of fortifications and bunkers, some of which I assume are nuclear bunkers. Hell the Marine Corps Base here has a runway long enough to support Space Shuttle landings, Hawaii is basically a military fortress even today. Would be hella dope to see that be a thing.

The most interesting story in FO universe possible, Caesar's Legion wins battle of Hover Dam, and during the subsequent expansion comes into conflict with a reemerging Enclave.

I feel like the Enclave's story is over, but you do you. Honestly though I think Fallout is in need of something bigger than them.

Florida was the location of historical items being created I mean The Enclave could have another Raven Rock in Florida but I'm still hoping

I've always thought it was stupid that they just seemed to " get defeated" when we have never seen anything about Florida, Texas, the Midwest or Alaska. Florida would have something, Texas has always been a big center for military equipment and operations, it explicitly says there's stuff in the Midwest, and how what happened to half the us military in Alaska? I've always been an enclave fan and look forward to seeing them reconquer the US.

Another thing I should bring up(having played F3 recently) is that autumn disagrees with eden's plan to what extent I don't know saying his methods are too extreme.While autumn is a villain he does not think mass genocide is a viable option given how well that went in the past(fallout 2) his approach would be either a cure( if a scientist with limited resources can create a FEV cure I'm sure the enclave can create one for normal mutation) but this is just speculation

Alaska would be a good outpost for the Enclave. The U.S likely established a strong military presence there after the battle of Anchorage, and the fuel reserves the U.S stockpiled could still be there.

Given Fallout's history for the Pre-Great War, they did Annex Canada and it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for them to be there as well.

We are much, much larger then is shown in Fallout games. It makes more sense to position main force inland becouse coasts are hit the most. Control station was just high command gone rouge while our main force waits inland for the reclamation day.

Honestly I don't think the Enclave should return, unless it's in a new region. it's narratively more interesting to simply face new threats with new ideologies and problems than just continuing to Trott out "things you know"

Their been many data minds of enclave making a return in a fallout 76 update in year 3s road map aswell as them making a small return in 76s soon Update Steel Dawn. It's most likely In these DLC'S modus's enclave would probably want to take over Appalachia for an enclave territory in case of other enclave groups failed like the west coast enclave and raven rock.

The enclave is too powerful and smart too be beat just like that. They get beat up by the main character every game, they never get a chance. Like they have a army of armored troopers, vertibirds, why not steam roll every tribe and faction that get in the way in stead of jerking off on bases and shit.

I agree with your points buuuuuut. We dont have a lot of lore confirmation on the enclaves status so we really dont know their fate. Also I dont like eden or autum. Eden is a hardline purist. But autum is a militarist. Hes not a president he is a general who only looks out for the enclave. This is evident because he wants to use project purity as PR not out of goodness. I know autum is the lesser of 2 evils but it doesnt sit right with me that a non elected general is leading a well armed and trained military while at the same time being opprutunistic. The enclave has ruined its rep so bad who would side with them? The same Guys who tried to kill everyone in the American wasteland. The same guys that wanted to poison the water supply of D.C? Yes eden ordered the player to poison project purity but there still was a civil war in raven rock over what path the enclave should take. I doubt it would sit well with the old guard and might rip apart the enclave from the inside. I also believe that the enclave through its history has forgotten what democracy means. Their is a enclave sente buuut again it is mentioned they have no power. The president does. Those are my points. Still liked your vid :)

The Enclave is nice and all, but they fail to b a better option than Mr House, NCR, or Caesars Legion. All if sided with by the courier will out preform the Enclave.

They could always just make The Great Lakes Naval Station Underwater Complex Canon and say the Enclave is still a powerful technological threat because that base is half the size of Control Station Enclave its stated to have a population of 500 people but have Vault 1 as an underground city beneath Chicago which has a population of 2000! Twice as many as on the Oil rig all Vault Dwellers with pure Enclave worthy DNA so technically yes when Colonel Autumn says the Enclave is the height of its power he could be talking about the Chicago Enclave 2500 dedicate and sheltered armed to the teeth so on the west coast we has about 1100-1200 tops and on the west coast maybe 800 tops tho i doubt it was any higher than 500-600 and than in the middle we have the Chicago Enclave 500 Enclave descendants who have been waiting 220 years to shine in an underwater facility tho half the size of The Oil Rig is equally as advanced and a Vault with 2000 people in it all dedicated Enclave members as well so look at the west coast Enclave we see in fallout 3 as like a heavily armed detachment of the Chicago Enclave attempting to take D.C. by force tho sworn to secrecy on the existence of Enclave High Command which has been raising questions for years now where is the Enclave high command.....Chicago or they could go the other route and kinda have this whole Chicago story just play out in Alaska and make there Capital Anchorage obviously or Fairbanks up in the center of Alaska because it was protected by the natural terrains or Brethel which is my preferred location due to the Bering Straight being a location stated to have many intact pre-war military facilities and bases primarily in the Bering Straight area located by the Brotherhood of Steel's northern faction from Fallout Extreme

The thing you have to remember is that the enclave only had 1000 people a most on control station enclave At least three quarters of those died on rig So maybe 250 people made it to Navarro and that’s being generous considering how little warning they had that the rig was about to blow up Let’s say 150 people left for raven rock It’s possible they left people at refueling stations or communications bunkers across America So it’s possible that they could have outposts but most of them would have 20 people or less considering how little personal they had after the rig And since they aren’t exactly open to outsiders they can’t have recruited lots of people People could have had children such as arcade but that’s still 50 children at most and we don’t see any kids in raven rock In conclusion of this rant It’s possible that they still have manned outposts but any major forces would have been wiped out in the capital I think the most we are going to be in the form of remnants or perhaps a small contingent in Chicago but beyond that the most we are getting is long abandoned bunkers and maybe the occasional suit of advanced power armour

Honestly to stir this pot further, who is even to say Enclave bases exclusively have to be in the United States? I feel like it would also be worth saying that out of all the Vaults, how likely is it that at least one or two are planted by the Enclave to raise a new generation of citizens? Back in fallout 3, when the Enclave soldiers meet the vault dweller who left the vault, the officer addresses her as a “Citizen of the United States” although he tries to kill her, this raises an interesting concept that vault dwellers are a continuation of US citizens, which is exactly what they are intended to be Vault 76 although you’re kind of just shoved to the outside, I think it’s possible some vaults were from the start indoctrinated to join the Enclave

They they still have Cheyenne Mountain they still have that weather as both of those have not appeared in the main fallout series. They also have Chicago as it’s known they have a presence in the region. There are probably other facilities as well. Keep in mind fallout tactics is non cannon so vault 0 isn’t canon. It’s also possible that up in Wyoming and North Dakota there is a presence as there are supposedly command and control facilities up there in real life

what id love above all else for the enclave is for there to be a kind of "political war" where one half stays close to the enclaves original spirit of "Reclaimers of the world" at the expense of the people and a growing base of those who realize that forces like the super mutants, wastelanders and ghoul's would be somewhat useful. Supermutants like pack animals and ghouls an interesting case for those still sane and whove lived since prewar and can recite their social security number and thus apart of america in the truest sense and who the enclave could learn from in a historical sense. basically those that wish to adapt to the new world and use the non vault population as a second class or even an untouchables class while also actually doing something to revive the wasteland from chicago, hell even niagra falls has a hydro eletric dam which could serve as the sight of some kind of purifier which the enclave could construct and activate. either purifing the largest source of fresh water in the world or dooming all to genocide, either way enclave would also get a reliable source of power out of it like the hoover dam so bam. TLDR i want the enclave to be a lawful evil faction infighting with a chaotic evil civil war that decides how they deal with outside threats that encroach on them. like some new kind of Canadian NCR who has a good sized hateboner for americans after they essentially destroyed canada and then later the world before the war, or better yet one that just wants their advanced tech and possible hook to whatever their doing in chicago to take it over for themselves. Or the regular NCR who have finally dealt with conquering the legion's presumed fallen territories (A cult of personality can be as stable as it wants but when theres no personality left, It falls!) I think the NCR could be better serviced with a good ending great khans in Montana tho as some kind of DLC rather than all the way in the great lakes. Or even have the institue come back and actually be a character after having defeated the Brotherhood of steel and effectively demolishing their entire power structure in one fell swoop. possably giving the institute a real opportunity to be driven by a lone suvivor into something approaching real competence by using their incredible technology and drive to actually rebuild the wasteland. and not genuine stupidity involving absurd synths that have no reason to exsist, only masked by Bethesda's approach to world building. That being you can choose what to blatantly ignore rather than actually scrutinize real writing Taking this ending would also give the east coast brotherhood an actual conflict to deal with rather than being cartoons in FO3 and just diet enclave only interesting because of the implied cultural shift of the organization as a whole. IE implied character development. where this conflict of succession could be the catalyst for an interesting plot or even just be interesting with the brotherhood having to retreat and genuinely consider having to use the heavest prewar tech they've accumulated, an introspective look at the whole faction that must consider their mission and if their fit for carrying the cross of possibly becoming what destroyed the world for the good of their organization and possibly the world. to begin development of new instruments of war, for a war to save the wasteland of america from itself. rather than just being blatant hypocrites in fo4 for detonating a nuke with no second thought, just repeating the sins of the past they vowed to prevent with the hoarding of technology.

The first time i played fallout 4 i always imagine a dlc in wich (like with the railroad but now with bos or institute) u have to put seismographs on certain places and then the ground began to shake in the last place falling down to an inmense tunnel and then discover that is a giant tunnel for an hyper train for the pre war goverment conecting secretly states and bases with underground facilities and the seismic movements was basically enclave super trains filled with heavy mining and military equipment.... Like to reclaim the US or because they are in secret ar war with something really powerful

Honestly, I would like a story where the main character was born into the Enclave but at some point, your character left due to a questionable action. Maybe eventually leading a revolution of sorts and a civil war within their ranks, but just being a former member would be interesting. Regardless, you salvage what you can from Enclave outpost. Raid with another faction you join, gather resources, equipment, intelligence and maybe sympathizers.

I have always wanted to join the faction in the fallout games, by that I mean in the way you join the BOS in fallout 4, where you build up in rank by completing missions, not just joining some remnants or a robot in a bunker. If I can join Caesar's legion or the institute, then I want to join the Enclave.

I think the enclave will try to find a way to make their soldiers have non-radiative Dna just in case if they were ever to redue project purity somewhere else,they would most likely try to get their soldiers unaffected by the chemicals in the purified water

Honestly if they every choose to do a game in a place like Florida I could see the enclave being stationed at like cape Canaveral in order to salvage any and all plans/materials.

I think they should have them go south since they’ve never done a fallout game in the southern region of the USA cause they’ve done east coast north and west and there’s forts and places they could do like fort benning, fort hood,fort Bragg in North Carolina or Sam Houston which is a base in Texas, or fort Lee in Virginia.

I live in lower Alabama near the gulf, and the amount of Oil rigs here is stagnating. Most are at best an hours ride away form each other. Based on the ships I've seen, I wouldnt be surprised if theres one thats a military operation. Maybe if there is ever a future game set down here the developers can take advantage of that.

There might technically be a outpost in or off the Gulf of Mexico due to rauls backstory mentioning an oil refinery running. They would target oil/ target oil because of pre war depletion’s

i like to think fallout 3 enclave was more of a slightly rogue or a test to see how the americas was ready for colonization having alot more mega bases all over the country awaiting a clear signal

All I want from fallout 5 is a joinable enclave, which isnt portrayed as illogicaly evil but as more of a doing the wrong thing for the more or less right reasons faction.
