I loved hearing that line, the honesty and vulnerability of it. So many of us feel the same, we want to know, want to understand and learn, but we don't have the language to ask the question, so we often don't ask because we fell we can't not because we don't want to; then to hear the response from Lawrence Krauss is equally poignant as he wants to answer in a way we can all understand.

voodoochile333 But he doesn’t have “only suppositions” does he? Yes, he only asserts things here, because to explain them in full would take a 3 year remedial class for you on physics, and that’s obviously not gonna happen. If they were “only suppositions” we wouldn’t have phones or the internet, or medicine (etc etc etc), or we wouldn’t have sent probes to far off places in the solar system, or sent people to the moon. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to be an ultra specialist expert on every subject, so I have to believe the experts. You’re very skeptical about this guy who can prove everything he says (and keep in mind he’s more than happy to admit when he doesn’t know stuff) and yet I bet you believe some proper drivel. I just listened to the full podcast and I have to tell you this is one of the greatest recordings of this century so far. Fuck me! At one part they talked about how their separate audience would react, never thinking about the possibility of some people being a fan of both of them. There was no divide here, probably they don't even realize what an amazing thing they just did! This was pure awesomeness! Wow! One more thing I'd like to add is that music actually talks about the same thing. They talked about storytelling and music but separately. I think that music is just the 1 dimensional, purest form of storytelling using only frequencies as a medium. I want more of this.
