Here is my suggestion for a theory topic: The Three Campaigns of Red Alert 3 fit into a single Time Line. My main evidence for that comes in through the Uprising DLC, in it and during the Empire's campaign's second mission we are tasked to protect the resting place of Emperor Yoshiro, given what the DLC shows us we can safely assume that it takes place in the aftermath of an Allied Victory in RA3, but the problem is that Emperor Yoshiro doesn't die in the Allied campaign, rather the Soviet one.

These videos made me think how cool Tiberian Incursion could've been...

Video suggestion idea: Let's say through some hypothetical Chronosphere malfunction shenanigans, Yuri himself ended up in our world alone (as there is only one true Yuri!), with no resources beyond what he has on his person (so he could have a super USB stick in his pocket with research notes and tech blueprints if one really wishes to make us have problems, plus his mind control phone) and a desire to still dominate the hearts, minds, bodies, (and if he likes: souls) of everyone on the globe. How would Yuri go about doing this, and what is the likelihood of him pulling it off/failing? What kinda scenarios would this result in? Not to influence your own theory crafting, but considering how we are so connected with smartphones and the internet being very widespread - Me thinks a Hollywood style mind control attack would be incredibly devastating, especially when the mind controlled masses start to make algorithms promote videos to the top of the recommended feeds all about the place. Of course there are still billions of people who lack internet access of any sort, and Yuri won't be contempt with nothing less than total domination. Would love to see what you make of this scenario, and how fast we would all be one with Yuri if he were to find his way to our reality. my headcanon for how the C&C time line works is this Einstein doesn't time travel at all = Generals (slightly heightened version of the irl war on terror, mainly because in generals we don't see any of the fancy scifi weapons used in Red Alert or Tib Wars, which is probably all based off tiberium in some way) Einstein Time Travels = Red Alert Soviets Win WW2 (Kane kills Stalin) = Tib Wars Allies Win WW2 = Red Alert 2 and 3

Very late to the party, but people often forget that the original Generals campaign takes place around Central Asia, a region that used to be part of the Soviet Union. Considering that the Central Asian countries do take cues from their fellow brothers in the Near East, it does explain the architectural choice of GLA buildings, especially since the GLA were masters of hiding in plain sight. As for Jarmen Kell's ties to Natasha, it is possible that Kell was a former Red Army soldier (the Soviets did recruit troops from Central Asia) that got inspired by Natasha, and once the Union broke up (and thus, out of a job), parlayed his services as a mercenary for his homeland that happened to fall under GLA influence. These are just my two cents, though, so take them as you will.

So here's my headcanon theory: C&C Generals is a C&C timeline where Kane never existed. Calm down you Brotherhood zealots, it's not heresy, it's just multiverse theory, hear me out: in my opinion there are two main threads that vaguely connect the two series together, thanks to some common concepts in the C&C franchise, the first one is technology, the second one is geopolitics. Let's start with Geopolitics, take a look at this map: static.wikia.nocookie.net/cnc_gamepedia_en/images/c/c2/TDWorldMap.png/revision/latest?cb=20200808051023 It represents allegiances between an emergent non-state actor (sounds familiar?), the Brotherhood of Nod and the more conventional Western-centric powers, represented by GDI (which is just a military branch of the UN at this point, but let's just accept that this map is simplified for the sake of storytelling in an old silly game). Notice which regions of the world are red in this map: we have China, various parts of Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Colombia and Venezuela in South America. Now, aside from the South American countries, these are all areas where the Global Liberation Army operates in Generals, clearly the GLA and Nod have similar struggles and similar goals, they even have similar tactics! Perhaps that's because they are more or less the same people? I think it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine a smooth talking bald man, who seemingly had insight into the future, approaching the groups that would commprise the GLA, and offering them everything they need to defeat their enemy, as long as they buy into his cult and pledge themselves to follow him. Those who wouldn't accept his rule would soon be dealt with by his assassins, something that is even depicted in the beginning of the Nod campaign in C&C 1. Secondly, let's talk about technology, what is the most prominent technological link between Generals and the Tiberium universe? *Lasers* . America has lasers, Nod has lasers. Do you know what else Nod has? American vehicles, they make heavy use of Desert Patrol Vehicles, M2 Bradleys, Apache Gunships and Chinooks (which the US use in Generals, of course), these are not exactly for sale to any enterpreneurs! I believe there's even a cutscene in Tib Dawn, regarding a scandal that involved various manufacturers, that had secretly sold weaponry to the Brotherhood of Nod. Clearly Kane had been in contact with some powerful people in the American military industrial complex, so with that in mind, it is my belief that he may have secured a complete ownership of certain research, related to combat applications of laser weaponry, technology that would have led to the creation of laser defenses and laser tanks for GDI, much like the US, but which would instead become a cornerstone of the Brotherhood's arsenal for many decades. When Tib Dawn and Generals were made, Nod and GLA were both representations of radical groups that the west would fight in far off lands. Terrorists, fundamentalists and rebels from various regions and cultures, blended together into some ficticious united front, it was all born out of what the developers of these game saw in the news, so I think it's not a stretch to say that the Brotherhood of Nod is basically the Global Liberation Army, but without Kane, without his US industry contacts and without the insight he had, into the greater mysteries of the universe.

Another theory I've been thinking about lately; Nod comes from the ashes of the GLA. However that would require the ignoring of two things; The dates both the First Tiberian War (1997 - 2000) and the First GLA War (2013) and not seeing the Second GLA War in Generals 2 (2023) as cannon at all which then regards the GLA as "fully defeated"

Hey KZfaq, I'm about to copy-paste a comment I made on another video...into this one. You're warned. I think it'd be awesome if Zero Hour and RA3 actually happen in the same universe, and to make that possible, some bridging needs to happen. Question is...where would that bridge be? Remember the Soviets campaign in RA3? FutureTech was getting increasing backlash because of its many experiments getting exposed, notably the Sigma Harmonizer. I think after the Soviets campaign, FutureTech was demoted eventually because the Allies didn't like the bad publicity they get from associating with the corporation. Then Kelly Weaver got so desperate she sent the player to defeat the Allies, Soviets and Japan and to collect blueprints for ALL their units and buildings. The player did just that, and FutureTech installed him as CEO. Then Kelly "reviewed the terms in private" some night after the player beat RA3 Uprising's Challenge mode, and got pregnant. The child was born and raised in secret, and somehow got into the Chinese military, which now would've been born together with an independent China which itself was born as Japan, thanks to Allied interventionism, Yuriko's...uprising, and FutureTech kicking its ass, withdrew to the territory of the 2020s Japan we know in the real world. Anyhow, FutureTech basically now works in China and turned it into a globally-significant force, so much that it became one of the three factions of ZH. But where's FutureTech's technical expertise in practice? It kept it all secret even harder, as it doesn't want the world backlashing against it again. That said, it did help generals like Tao (nuke general), Fai (infantry general) and Kwai (tank general) in their respective special-unit programs. Then it armed the GLA with experimental crap weapons that the world wouldn't know to have come from FutureTech itself. As for the daughter of the FutureTech player and Kelly Weaver, she became a general in the Chinese military, specifically in the Chinese elite force or something, and has a higher rank than ANY Chinese general in ZH. Who would she be? That would be Leang. But Leang is Chinese, and Kelly isn't. But girls tend to inherit genetically more from their dads. One probability is that you as the FutureTech player are Chinese. Even if that's not the case, well, Leang would've been well-absorbed into Chinese culture early on that she wouldn't look too not Chinese. I mean, the FutureTech player has access to ALL of ALL 3 factions' (Allies, Soviets and Rising Sun) units and buildings in RA3, and Leang has access to SOME of ALL 3 factions' (USA, China and GLA) units and buildings in ZH. So...what happened to the Soviets and Rising Sun at this point? The Empire of the Rising Sun went full sakoku-isolationist as it became ashamed of its fall from grace, while the Soviets decided to turn a new leaf, with Oleg the supreme commander of the Soviet military getting military and civilian reforms enacted, such reforms making Russia a more politically forgiving place for everyone within and beyond its territorial borders. Not because the Soviets had a change of heart, but because they realize that they too have fallen from grace, and that they really need to trade with the world around them to earn a lot of money in order to compensate for their war against the Allies, Rising Sun and FutureTech. Soviet leadership let this happen because they don't want the masses to throw them out of power due to being made ultra-poor thanks to the events of Red Alert 3. As for the Allies, their interventionism and association with FutureTech embarrassed them so much they split into 2 major factions - Europe and America. Europe diverted funds away from defense spending because they don't want their public to think they're going to reimplement Thornley's "heaven on earth" policy (I mean, would you like it if time stopped and you can't do anything as your time-manipulating enemy does whatever they want to you? It's creepy, dude.). This dislike against Thornley turned into the European elite generally hating the concept of being European, going so far as to radically demilitarize, which made it very vulnerable to GLA attacks as they happen in ZH. America remained the only substantial globally-significant military powerhouse and used that to dominate the world, becoming the "world police" in the process. The shift polarized the population. Ackerman wasn't liked much for his Soviet-hating war policy, but he was somewhat vindicated since he was right to not trust Cherdenko. I mean, the Soviets secretly kept Kirovs in Cuba and sent them to destroy America, starting probably with Florida. The public went paranoid from enemies potentially coming from anywhere, and accepted Ackerman's skepticism a little bit. That's why America was allowed by its citizens to become the world police. So, how would the GLA have formed? Well, it would've formed from the impoverished and disenfranchised in Africa, Middle East and Central Asia banding together and using whatever weapons they can use, as well as whatever FutureTech would've been willing to lend to them. So, why would FutureTech collude with GLA? That would be to not only gain a justification as to why China should allow it to engage in more and more of its own arms projects and give it lots of funds. It would've also used the GLA menace to justify why America should also buy weapons from FutureTech. Why play both sides? To get America and China to bust each other's asses, and to make them reliant on it for weapons technology. They're arms dealers, after all, and what's not a great profit source for one if not a war? So, what about the Allied occupation of Japan? Either it continued under the leadership of the guy Red Alert 3 said to be in charge (the old-man replacement of Warren, I think his name was Douglas Hill or something), or the Allies withdrew as the world was increasingly not liking their status as the world military hegemon. Remember, the Allied occupation wasn't only Americans. There's also Europe, and Europe, as discussed, cut defense spending. What would've happened here is that they cut defense spending wayyy too much till it became too costly to keep their part of the occupation going, so they withdrew forces. Americans do not want the Japs to suddenly go back to the Rising Sun days, so, like, the Americans instead ended the occupation and declared their eternal presence on Jap soil as a perpetual aid to the Japs in deterring, say, the Chinese and the North Koreans, or something.

I think it sounds plausible. Particularly since C&C has done splitting timelines with RA1 splitting into RA2 or 95 depending on who wins. Was this all planned at the start? No. But I think in terms of released material, nothing directly contradicts it, and it makes for a fun image in your head.

Generals has thrown to C&C franchise only for advertising purposes as game from the same studio and from the same developers. Also Red Alert 3 came 5 years after releasing Generals so developers propably stole this function from Jarmen and transfer to Natasha
