@@unspoken7704 Nah, they just make it look like they're trying harder than the rest. In reality, all their hands are tied on any issue, as their ability to reach the public, campaign funding, and personal reputation are all tied to how much they let corporations get away with. Thus, nuance is pretty much illegal in the eyes of Red vs Blue.

I do agree but it's good to acknowledge that some people are indeed born "crazy" meaning their genetics make it more likely for them to be violent or have impulsive thoughts such as shooting someone, etc...
@justtagurl

@@Danuxsy It's my understanding that if there is a genetic component to mental illness (which, unless I'm mistaken, has not yet been definitively proven), environmental conditions play the largest role in developing the kind of disordered thinking that might cause an individual to become violent or to shoot someone. Would you mind to point me toward the evidence you are using to support the claim that some people are "born crazy"?

@@Danuxsy No one is born with impulsive thoughts to shoot people, that is a thought that arises from unhealed wounds, aka childhood trauma and/or bullying. Some people are certainly born with a higher propensity for violence than others, but once again that violence must still be brought out of them, no one is simply born that way. Those same people born with a propensity for violence are also born with a propensity for compassion.

Some people are definitely born crazy but it isn't the high amount we see now, SSRI drugs have a major part in how kids act too. Instead of trying to put kids into therapy or other means they just force feed them drugs.

The most common and predictable factor in all school shooters is a lack of socialization, or poor socialization, and a lack of positive relationships. They are almost always people who are languishing at the fringes of our society. If someone feels that society shows nothing but contempt to them, it is quite easy for hatred to build up inside of them. Always be kind to people, and try and include everyone. Loneliness is a killer.
@ElChuntyCabra

It's simple. Men aren't getting laid anymore and are angry so they shoot up. Also the average woman's ego has been so overly inflated by the liberals that they won't associate with average men anymore. That's fine. But now you have mass shootings to balance out the discrepancy.
@nsfshdfgj
@nsfshdfgj Жыл бұрын
some people shouldn't or can't be included in society, it's a human paradox, the best that can be done is being much more alert over mental illness, that's really about it. weirdos, outcasts and fuckups will always exist in one way or another and they will always cause damage if their sick minds get fixed on doing it, the only reason they use guns in the united states is because they have firearms much more normalized than other countries, it's why you don't see shootings in other countries but rather stabbings, cars going on the sidewalk, arson or acid attacks. some people can be irredeemable.

Nailed it. I've been saying this since the late 2000s. Schools are cesspools of Machiavellian virtue-signaling mids (and most of them never change), and there's a war against boys and men. When a boy is attacked from every possible direction by a system that doesn't even seem to be made of sentient life, let alone one that could ever care about them, then they learn that they are at war with it. Personally, I used that anger to fuel this micro-empire, but many others just turn it into drugs, jail, self delete, or another one of these political fodder news stories. “A child that is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth” -African proverb

We have our calling we are the end of the American Dream. No more being asleep to the ugly truth of the world and no more being made to look away from the filth brought on by our ancestors. To long has the republic been stagnant, to long has our culture been made to believe consumption was our meaning in life. Now you will all see what happens when society turns their backs on the people wo keep the country running. There are no tradesmen, no rea mental health and no community. This school shooter problem has been long coming and there were signs that everyone chose to ignore not wanting to face reality. Gen z and Gen Alpha will be given a big task of rejecting the modernizing world and embrace tradition. The only way we can get free is to build new strong communities and it must be done soon otherwise another nation will replace us.

When I was in school about 15 years ago, there was a kid who clearly had some issues likely stemming from a bad home life- so he acted out in school at times. He also got bullied a lot. He was very intelligent. Teachers treated him like a burden- I remember once he raised a point in class during discussion and while it was probably argumentative, he was right and it was a good point. The teacher in that class (who I liked a lot as a teacher) told him sternly and loudly to shut his mouth or go to the principals office. It's unnecessary public displays of disrespect and condescension like that which turn a kid against their school and everyone in it. When your home life is hell and you go to school and get rejected in little ways like that all the time, by both teachers and peers- that's when you get a school shooter. Everyone is just angry. And who can blame them. Everyone is underpaid and overworked. Our society just sucks anymore, man. Healthcare sucks, wages suck, price of everything sucks, bosses suck, retirement is practically non existent- all while politicians and CEOs are sitting back laughing, fat and happy. The only thing people give a shit about is profit and growth. Why take pride in your work when they just want a body. They don't want a loyal employee who figures out the business and does a great job- because if they do a great job and the company grows- their paycheck reflects it. Teachers told us when we were little that if we didn't study we'd be living in a van under the bridge. The more time goes on, somehow that's turning into the goal. Capitalism is a good thing but not when it's totally unregulated and as out of control as it currently is. Our country could be so, so prosperous right now but it's been ruined by a tiny, tiny percentage of the population. Everyone could have good jobs, benefits, time off, support for families and working single parents etc...you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours kinda thing...but .01% of the population have decided they're going to totally drain the lake a little more every year- until we're out of water, so to speak. Because maintaining corporate profits of billions of dollars every quarter is more important than a happy and healthy society, I guess. It's my opinion that corporate greed is at the root of most problems in the US right now, including, in a roundabout way- school shooters.

Most people can't even imagine that MOST school teachers are 'Marxist Feminists'. It doesn't even cross their minds, and even if described explicitly... they jump into defense mode. Why? Because Marxist Feminism is innately violent and that gets passed on to children. In 1967 when the KGB subsidized Feminists met with Lyndon Johnson, and he only supported the CRA, they were very disappointed so decided to take over America, first... the schools.

The issue is easy. "Boys" problems are not considered problems. When girls talk about depression or being bullied at school, 1,000 people show up to help or eliminate the problem. When boys complain of the same things they are often told to "man up" or "grow a pair". Don't believe me?? Here are some mind blowing stats on suicide... ages 5 to 10 - boys and girl kill them selves about an equal amount (rare, but it does happen) ages 10 to 15 - DOUBLE the amount of boys kill themselves compared to girls ages 15 to 20 - more than TRIPLE amount of boys kill them selves compared to girls ages 20 to 25 - 5 times the amount of boys kill themselves compared to girls ages 25 to 30 - 8 times the amount of boys kill them selves compared to girls ages 30 to 40 - almost 10 times more men then women ages 40 to 50 - begins to move back down closer to even Boys who kill themselves are considered to be "losers" or "weak" and unable to cope. Imagine if these numbers were reversed in the favor of girls......oh my goodness.....our country would literally be thrown into a panic. EVERY talk show and commercial and media would talk about this until the problem was solved.......but these stats have been like this forever.....and no one cares.....until we start taking boys problems seriously, you'll continue to have more columbine type incidents

It’s the over-commercialization of America. We have lost the sense of purpose because we no longer have close connections with parents, community, church/religion, etc. Everyone feels like just a number. This is absolutely spot on. Divorce rates are overwhelming. Parents are working at overwhelming rates. Most homes are broken. There’s division being used as race, sex, gender, social status, etc. It’s a huge population of small clicks or cults, and we no longer have unification towards one another, and you have mass amounts of insecurity and longing for companionship. EVERY talk show and commercial and media would talk about this until the problem wa.s solved.......but these stats have been like this forever.....and no one cares.....until we start taking boys problems seriously, you'll continue to have more columbine type incidents

A few months ago my cousin died of cancer. When she was ill I had some personal concerns for her and my parents and, big surprise, I found myself “researching” about it. And I almost ended up in a spiral of depression and nihilism. Life lost its meaning, because the algorithm kept feeding me with the worst health problems one can imagine, everywhere, Facebook, Instagram, KZfaq, wherever. I broke the cycle and stopped the harassment by looking different content, music, self improvement, sports, etc. But the biggest hypocrisy is that Social Media bans the word s**cide, yet it drowns us on a state of anxiety, fear, uncertainty and mind control that could easily lead on taking our lives. Peace for all of you.

You can pretty much boil the issue down to lack of full coverage quality health insurance and then the other is social media/toxic news companies like Fox corrupting peoples minds. Start holding news agencies accountable and fine them heavily for making untrue claims that can cause problems.

You completely missed the point. Way to take a 9 minute video and only hear 10 seconds. Those things are far from the problem. If that was true, then every country in the world would have a school shooting pandemic, but this is only a US problem. Sure, social media will amplify the speed of an individual getting to this point, but it is never the root problem. The lack of purpose is what the whole video was about. As someone who was completely ridiculed and bullied from kindergarten to senior year- I completely understand why there are school shooters. My mom died when I was 12- all the kids and even school staff- teachers included- didn’t care, didn’t allow me space to grieve. Specifically, she died on a Wednesday. My dad pulled me out of school the morning she died and I missed Thursday and Friday. Came back on Monday, my classmates including my teacher made a snarky ass comment about her death. I was bullied being a white girl in a predominantly Hispanic and Portuguese community. No one wanted to be friends with me and everytime I tried to play sports or put myself out there, I was rejected everytime. So yes, I can understand how people can be so cruel to others over and over again until someone finally snaps. I snapped in the way of having anxiety attacks that would make me pass out at school and kids would wish I’d die. Try laying on the ground, struggling to breathe and having kids point and make fun of you…. I hated my childhood and the community in which I grew up.

I also had a very difficult childhood. I was ostracized by my fellow students and teachers. I have had periods of intense despair and anger and I also understand it. I would never say that out loud where someone I know could hear that though. I believe that what Theo is touching on is the fact that the "order" has been taken out of our society. You could call it the masculine element. We need a strong, secure, yet loving structure to guide us along and we do not have that in this culture currently. Thats why many of these shooters are young men. They're angry live wires with no where to channel their current. They need a channel for that energy and that channel doesn't exist.

Soon after is "Crisis" this starts with purposely destabilizing an economy, mass chaos followed by disarmament and then Normalization of tyranny. Yuri Bezmenov explained this in the G.Edward Griffin interview back in the 80's and he was absolutely spot on. Demoralization is no joke, if people actually understand how deep this goes it will blow their mind.

It was so we would go be more human, learn to connect with people, form relationships, care more. I could ramble on about this for hours. But i'm hoping with the creation of things like deep fakes and ChatGPT that society realises it's time to go back outside and play, and reconnect with what's real. @@dillonmoll1055 Theo has folk wisdom, but when it comes to fallibility he is just as likely as your Joe Rogans or your Hasan Pikers to give some unhinged take. For some reason, loads of people can't understand that corruption is a _consequence_ of how our system is set up, not some people "cheating a fair system". It's like if you tell people they live in a meritocracy, they will just believe that without looking at the world around them first. Any world where Hunter Biden and Donald Trump are household names _should say everything you need to know_ about the state of our 'meritocracy'. The fact that that statement _IS CONTROVERSIAL_ tells you even moreso. Objectivity can only be achieved through reliance on data, and most people just _do not_ have the patience to sit through that shit after a long day working. I don't even blame them either. What's worse, people want easy answers to tough questions rather than just accepting they don't know about something; so the impulse to just "vibe" with some commentator instead of looking shit up for yourself is a pretty strong one. Don't get me wrong, I like Theo's "vibes", he's a good guy at heart.
@josephdavis3472
@josephdavis3472 Жыл бұрын
@@dillonmoll1055 Besides, his take on the causes of school shootings is pretty bad considering there's lots of data points that disagree with it. First, your school shooter types don't tend to be "atheists". (though a few people have lashed out at their birth religion vilolently, less than 1% of shooters though). The most common school shooter is someone between 17-24 years old, overwhelmingly male, overwhelmingly social outcasts, and overwhelmingly Christian. This isn't because Christianity causes shootings, it's just that since most people in America are Christian, it stands to reason that most people of any given demographic, even shooters, will be disproportionately Christian. If you're wondering why I even brought that up, Theo strongly suggests that shootings are motivated by lack of job and lack of religion causing a lack of purpose. This just _does not track_ with the statistics on mass violence, it's just a guess... and it's an incorrect one.
@Rouser48
@Rouser48 Жыл бұрын
on top of that, people can be classified as "Christian" but not practice Christianity. I know many people who say they are Christian but haven't been to church since they were kids. I'm willing to bet none of these shooters that were classified as "Christian" were strong believers that went to church week to week, because if they did it would give them a stronger sense of purpose (which is Theo's argument).

I think a big thing is also how society has really lost a sense of "community" in a lot of ways. Over-politicizing every single issue has completely destroyed peoples ability to trust their neighbor. Any combat veteran will tell you, it is far more difficult to kill someone you view and understand as a fellow human, rather than just "that guy."

I think it is man's aggression when we lost all hope, we believe that things will never get better, and suffer day in and day out with no end in sight. This leads to a building anger if we can't see a better day in the future. A lot get angry and suicidal but when the aggression is outwards and the person blames society and the structure that failed you and wants to maximise destruction of the society that did or is doing this to you. Faith and hope for a better future is VERY important and we must believe it on a personal level. Taking the guns away will just bring home made bombs back.

As a 36yo man, I still remember very clearly being bullied and made fun of through most of my school years. A little kid shouldn’t be crying every day from fear and anxiety on the way to school. Thank God my home life wasn’t terrible. I still remember multiple times at different schools having classmates joke around and say “Haha, hey whenever you raid the school, just make sure to point away from me haha”. That kind of thing really sucked to hear because personally, I have never wanted to hurt anyone. I just wanted to be treated with humanity and respect. People watch news of these shootings happen on the news and say “What a terrible person would do something like that?” I usually think “This kid probably had an axe to grind and this has been a LONG time coming.” I think the reason a lot of these shootings happen is there are kids in school that aren’t treated with humanity anywhere, and they turn into a ticking b*mb. With the possibility of mental illness included, home life and how they’re treated by their peers causes this. There are almost always red flags that people turn a blind eye to.

In the UK it’s rare we have mass shootings but the last big one we had, they tightened the gun restrictions and not the obvious mental health factor. The gun man had a KZfaq channel and I hate to say but I saw some of vids and I understood his frustrations, obviously not all his frustrations were completely sane but it was scary to hear his ‘life’s constantly been an up hill battle” for him coz I’ve felt the same, I would never go to his extreme but who knows, there’s still a lot more time for my mental health to deteriorate over something that’s beyond my control besides my mental resilience of dealing with the situation. Even then the situation might be very extreme. As for this gunman, he spent nearly two years trying to get help and they didn’t, the mental system that I’ve been apart of just hire anyone off the street, some of these “therapists” who tell me what they do come in the bar I work and tbh they need therapy themselves, some even break the confidentiality rule by telling people about someone they mutually know. I also work in a hospital testing electrics and heard the mental health department talking shit on their colleague who left the room. Honestly society is messed up and it’s good job I’ve become a realist and know my worth. I ain’t sinking down to their level by doing the very behaviours that make up this shit society. No surprise any of shit happens and people live in ignorance to a realistic POV.
