PM to Paint measurement (ESTIMATE!):
1.5oz (45ml) PM to between 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) to a 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) paint to start (for heavy body paints). If too thin or needs more color add a little more paint (or even a gel gloss), if too thick add a little more PM to thin more.

Definitely one of your most stunning pieces. The movement and overlapping ribbons produced the depth perception that draws one IN. Your background...pure genius. It not only amplifies your transfer it gives the eyes many places to land.

I like the original horizontal with the white on top. When looking at it that way, if you look all the way to the right it almost looks like an iceberg peeking out of the water. The rest looks like an iceberg being created with earth and water. Just what I see in this really cool abstract. Thanks Jodie for bringing in the new year with a beautiful painting. With the white on the bottom it looks like a tropical sandy ocean floor with tropical fish. It’s absolutely beautiful any way you look at it.

Jodie, This is STUNNING!. The colors are awesome. I 💘 love this painting. It feels so alive and so vibrant that I feel like I'm watching an imaginary mystical aquatic sea being as she glides through the water and becomes one with the sun. Gorgeous, I love the background swipe you’ve done , the darker colours really play with your transfer swipes, I think I liked the white at the bottom for the orientation. So beautiful 🤩

Wow! That is beautiful. Gorgeous colours. For me, horizontal with lighter background at the top but very hard to decide. Love how you use this technique to create so much depth to your composition ... the transparency ... and those beautiful soft blue bulbous cells! Amazing piece to start 2023 with. HNY Jodie!

I love this technique, color combo etc! Since you asked, I preferred the horizontal over the vertical. However, it’s gorgeous either way. You are so talented and authentic. I enjoy your videos because you convey the same excitement we all feel when we have a successful outcome.

Absolutely stunning I just love the movement and those cells in the background that you see through the gold are so cool it's definitely aquatic I see a tadpole and I'm sure their are other shapes I'm missing but I just adore these pallet knife transfers they just give you so much interest in a piece and the cells you were able to keep are insane here. 👏 Bravo!! I just love it wouldn't change a single thing! I'm not a gold fan and you even made me love the gold parts! I'm definitely going to have to do some more of these!

Brilliant idea to use paint from the small canvas onto the larger one of same colors. Not seen this from any other artist. I like the long white edge on top because it really feels like it's under water and sunshine peeking in near the surface. I LOVE this idea....thanks Jodie.

Oh, I like this painting so much. The wow's were in abundance. The colors are rich and really like each other. The cells are incredible. Your spinner is gentle, so no tearing of the paint.. I’m so glad you liked it my friend 🤗 thank you! We didn’t get much of a storm here they were predicting about an inch or two but we had the bitter cold 🥶. Now it’s back in the 40s and rainy which is kind of weird but I’ll take it lol! I even heard thunder earlier. 🤔🤗💜🌺

Jodie, this is one of my all-time favorites! The background is brilliant! The blues are beautiful. And using gold was awesome (plus when you first laid down the gold it looked like a fried egg. Haha!) I absolutely love this piece. (How would I look into buying it?) I hope you had a fun NYE. I kissed my 4 cats at midnight, whether they liked it or not! I just love this. The background really sets the stage (so to speak) for the beautiful swimming creatures. I originally though the white on bottom was my favorite orientation but when I saw the last vertical one well.. I’m in love with that for sure. Keep this up I can’t wait to sea what else you create. When are you use the blowing technique with the straw? I’m not sure when to tell when to use it.😅😊

I found your channel from another person I follow, and I decided to give a hand at trying this, being retired now I have time on my hands. I am a little confused about what you mean by Pillow painted used Glidden Premium Base 1 Pure White in Satin and then your pouring medium used, you have Pouring Medium Mix Used: Base - Valspar Ultra High Gloss Base C and your Varnish - Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane Water in Crystal Clear Gloss. I am only on video #77 and watched that great tutorial, but I jumped ahead to this video to see if your products have changed, and they did. So do you use the Glidden paint along with the other two items, just have to say I love all of your videos so far, now I will jump back to video #78.

Welcome to my channel I’m so glad you found me! What you have listed is what I currently use and have been using for over a year now as it has turned out to be my most consistent pillow and pouring medium mix. That said you’ll find a number of different mixes here on my channel as well as experiments as I wanted to see what else can be used for this technique in case others wanted to try but couldn’t find what I was using, availability as well as budget.
