@@brettmerritt5469I definitely understand where you’re coming from and most people want journalists and media that can be critical or implement the use of critical thinking to make assertions and conclusions based upon finding and understanding truth within the rumors and assumptions made by the public. I feel like the reason many of these guests want to be on the show is for them feeling at ease knowing pat is not likely to grill them or put them in difficult situations to answer questions. I think the Gary Betman NHL commissioner interview is a good example of how people who typically don’t do ESPN stuff or have a huge amount of knowledge on college or professional football enjoy the experience of joining Pat and the boys.

@@brettmerritt5469see he ask those types of questions just in a way where the person being interviewed doesn’t have to completely destroy themselves, the situation, and the interviewer. Problem is the media has lost grace and doesn’t understand everybody is an actual person, status or stature shouldn’t effect how we treat PEOPLE. Love wins🤞🏾

I tore my right Achilles on June 2nd. Surgery, the way 95% of surgeons do it, on June20th. I was zero weight barring for 30 days, in the hospital for 3, nursing/ recovery for 18 days and hotel rooms for 60 days. I was hurt on vacation and couldn’t do steps for 80 days. I was in rehab the entire time. I finally got back home and have been walking for 4 weeks with a cane for safety reasons. I just hope his groundbreaking recovery can be used by all in the future. Because I’m still 60 days away from swinging a golf club. My recovery has been slow and painful.

I ruptured my Achilles two years ago. It still doesn't feel the same. However, I understand what Aaron is saying. I had to work while rehabbing. I was rehabbing during the pandemic, so it was much harder. I can see how he is making progress with the attention his Achilles receivers everyday, but I still think the jump from walking, to running, to being 100% is a monumental task. Run good, Aaron!

Random side note, but the situation around 20:50 where green bay was going for the #2 spot, in todays playoff format that game wouldn’t have just decided whether the vikings or bears get in, but if green bay would’ve won their first playoff game would’ve been against the bears with the lowest seed

I know exactly what he means on the redzone 3-step and 5-step combo. Obviously, you can only look at one WR at a time. If you can check the 3-step and determine if separation will be made for an anticipation throw quick enough (early like Aaron said) and if it's not there, then you will have time to turn your head to the opposite side of the field before the other receiver makes his break in the route that creates enough separation to get the ball in. If #1 isn't open and one can determine that quick enough you can get to the #2 fast enough before his route break to still be able to throw with anticipation! I never thought about throwing with anticipation so much as I have this year trying to figure out why Justin Fields has had troubles as I am a Bears fan!

There’s a bit to Aaron’s thought of the day. The problem with Saban’s time the NFL was the Dolphins we’re poorly run and shut down the move to get Drew Brees. If Saban gets Brees, we might have a different narrative about his tenure as an NFL coach and Alabama doesn’t return to its glory days. More than the players, I would say you need a good front office since they largely control who you coach and that doesn’t exist in college when your coach also serves as a GM through recruitment and the transfer portal.
