Remember all the things you learned in school that you never used again? In this message, we discuss one subject that was never taught but is a crucial skill to succeeding in life - conflict resolution. Learn about 2 essential things you need to know to resolve conflict in a healthy way.
----------
This series walks through what it looks like to find healing and freedom from past decisions, the baggage we carry, the hurts we've buried, and the brokenness we've experienced. We will learn that surrendering these things to Christ and embracing His invitation for transformation is so much better than suppressing what needs to be healed.

I went back to someone I has something against. I confessed and owned my part of it an he assassinated my character. So now I can only love him with Jesus love and set him free for what he did.

How to Resolve Conflict 1. Change your practice - overlook an offence IF YOU CAN 2. Own your part 3. Check your WENI (Withdrawal, Escalate, Negatively Interpret, Invalidate)

32:45 I've busted laughing because so true. Wait. There are situations where a person has no part in there. Even 1% wouldn't go to that person. Thinking about child abuse, bullied or heinous situations.

True. In those cases people harbor unforgiveness and spite toward themselves in the past as children. They blame themselves and think they should’ve done something to not have been put into that situation, but those thoughts are deceitful. They couldn’t have done anything in the state they were in. Creates a lot of triggers and sometimes even multiple personality disorders.

@@safanaseva91 Very true. Also causes serious damage in adulthood and poor choices in adult relationships. I pray for those kinds of abused people. May they find good Christian counselors like I did.

Uhhh. Some people do not want a relationship. Lol. And continuing to push yourself on those people that dont want to work at a relationship will do serious emotional and mental damage. Many people won’t even deal with conflict. Push it under the rug and don’t dare bring it up again.
