I listened to Floor’s version and it is indeed a beautiful version. However, I had to strain to listen to the words because the music was so loud. As far as clarity and full on emotion, Dimash’s version is superior in every way, hands down. This is NOT to diminish Floors version because from what I could hear, it was excellent. Lara Fabian also does an incredible yearning and haunting version, especially because she wrote the lyrics, but Dimash makes me feel he’s begging with his whole mind, heart and soul to not leave him. ❤❤❤But, I respect to each his own. ❤❤❤peace and acceptance.

Dimash holds Lara Fabian, who also sang this song, in very high regard. You should check her version out and you will find that she also puts her heart and soul into her performance. Then check out Dimash singing with her and along with Aida Garafullina in Ti Amo Cosi. You will hear Dimash in his beautiful lower register, and how well her can blend with other great singers. Now you need to check out one of Dimash’s idols Lara Fabian. She sings in English, Italian, French but she has a version of “Adagio” also. Might I suggest “Je Suis Malade” first. You don’t have to understand the words. She will make you feel her emotions. Absolutely stunning song as is everything Lara does

The fabulous songwriter/singer Laura Fabian wrote this song, and Dimash has had a crush on her since his preteens. He finally was able to sing with her a few years back at a birthday party for Igor Krutoy. Igor used to throw multi-million dollar birthday parties for himself and at this party, though Laua was sick, they got to sing together. He was indeed singing for his life in this performance, he'd only got 6th place the previous week and he had to regain some ground but he got 1st place after Adagio and regained his footing in the competition.

Floor is a Dutch singer and she is very good. But the Dutch singer Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation is also very good. The female singer that looks the most like Dimash is Diana Ankudinova and the male singer would be someone like Marcelito Pompoy. Diana Ankudinova has a amazing range. But Sohyang is the best female singer. There are many amazing singers but none have the level of Dimash.
