When Shivaji Maharaj met Aurangzeb, Aurangzeb was most powerful emperor that time in whole world. Just imagine the mindset and guts Shivaji Maharaj had when he raised his voice and insulted Aurangzeb in his own darbar? Specially when Aurangzeb had prisoned his own father and cut his own brother Dara shikoh 's head and sent to his father in prison. Still Shivaji Maharaj managed to escape from death. Its like insulting Kim Jong-un in front of him and getting out of North Korea alive in today's time.

But Aurangzeb was a clever politician and diplomat. He wasn't a tryant like khilji, tughlaq or Kim. Hence he just told his servants to go and pacify the angry shivaji as this hot climate of agra might have made him hot headed.

Shivaji Maharaj did what planned for. He made Jaysingh to take oath of his security. He knew what is going to happen. He know aurang will send him to campaigns in Afghanistan, from where it would have been super difficult to get back to dakhhan. Look at the meticulous planning. his every move was so accurately thought and excited that, aurang the emperor might have got shocked. he went to his den and came out with triumph with all his objectives met. If Maharaj had lasted for 10 more years, hw ould have concurred the north and there would not have been Ram janmabhumi, Kashi Vishwnath issues.

What you think that he was going to resolve those issues , Benaras was under a Hindu Kingdom and after Mughal Empire fall down, no one resolved those issues, these issues started very late almost after independence.

There are Rajasthani archives & chronicles which mentions what Shivaji Maharaj said about Jaswant Singh and the statements that Maharaj pronounced in rage in the court while looking directly at Aurangzeb and then walking out of the court with Shambhuji raje while the back towards the emperor.

This old lady says he gave bad words in marathi , what he said there was documented by clerks present in the court in dingal , after insulted he called Ram sing and said "you have seen ,your father has seen ,your emperor has seen what a man i am and yet you have deliberately kept me standing ! I cast off your mansab if you wanted me to stand you should have done it with proper thought " then he turn his back to the emperor and immediately walked away .Shivaji maharaj was a royal , royals dont give bad words in such situations also they maintain their dignity , dont malign shivaji maharajas image in front of his viewers have some sense and also speak with facts not what you want to say when talking history.

Aurang did give out orders twice to kill Chatrapati Shivaji but each time Ram Singh saved him as he had given an oath to his father Mirza Raja Jai Singh that he will protect Shivaji. Eventually it is Ram Singh who helps Shivaji to escape. I could say it all in detail but it will be too long to type it here.

sorry old lady i don't agree with you that Maharaj ever gave such bad words to anyone..........a royal person would never do that.....our Maharaj was raised by Veermata Jijau in very unique way......just study this properly how Ramayana and Mahabharat stories impactated him in his early age....he even treated enemies in very royale way after he defeted them....he even made sure their women and children be treated rightfully after conquering their kindgom unlike any other mughal who just looted, raped, killed. even farmers be paid fully for grains consumed by his soldiers while passing troops from one place to another which never ever any king would do that. such so many qualities. thataway he was called "Janata Raja ". an enlightened king. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj always maintain his dignity.....thatwhy he had so many great senapati ,subedar like Tanaji malsure, Bhajirabhu Deshpande and many other and offcourse mawalas, and even muslims soldiers they all would just love to give their lives for Maharaj.......no discrimination at all .Maharaj was so ahead of his time. even his enemies would praise Him for his roalty and diginity.

The Rajput General, who had given his word to yusuf shah chak of of kashmir in the darbar of akbar, had to commit suicide as akbar refused to let yousuf shah chak go free. The Rajputs of the times of akbar were week as compared to aurangzeb's. time.

She wrote a book? Really? Wonder what's in it. Mam, 1) Shivaji Didn't leave the Darbar because the North Summer got into his temper. He left because he was not accorded place w.r.t. his stature. He was given fourth row stand while deserving 1st row place like a guest king. 2) Aurangzeb had made plans to kill the Chatrapati of Maharashtra. He had changed the hands protecting Shivaji. Earlier as per agreement Mirza Raje's son was to provide protection. But later Faulad khan was given this task on which Mirza Raje was upset and had raised the matter before Aurangzeb. 3) Faulad khan was all preparing to kill Shivaji Maharaj but thankfully Shivaji escaped. 4) Aurangzeb, in sidelines, was also thinking of sending Shivaji (as a vassal sardar) to northwestern frontiers and eastern Afghanistan. Historians mention, this was an arrangement to get rid of Shivaji once for and all. 5) Aurangzeb wanted the "Keys" of remaining forts? I mean literally "keys"? (😄😄) Well the "Purandar Pact" already had given up 90% of the swaraj. And the remaining forts were hold by Aurangzeb only; but in the name of Sambhaji as a mansabdar of Delhi. 6) The kind of escape Shivaji Maharaj managed to make might seem a some what far fetched exaggeration, but it's very much possible. Look at his other tactics of escapes. The "Life of Shivaji" is a tale of an epic. Black and white narratives reduce it to a film story. Please refrain.
