Thanks for your great video even if 6 years ago. I just built my first Turbo Scorpion while watching you build yours. Thanks for the pointers. The first Kyosho I built was the Tomahawk when I was 12 years old then I saw the Turbo Scorpion and couldn’t get one. 1 off the Buck List Ticked ✅

Just ordered one of these. I had a Kyosho Javelin back in the 80's, and to this day I haven't seen an RC kit as nice. And I always loved the look of the Turbo Scorpion. Even more now that they lengthened the wheelbase. Awesome looking car. Thanks for the vids. They really got me interested in building another Kyosho.

I built my first turbo scorpion in 1987 and almost 30 yrs to the day I bought the re release. I'm super excited to build this new updated car. I can see all the areas that were improved and it looks like all the old problem areas are solved. I still have my old turbo scorpion in almost running condition and now that I can find replacement parts it will prob run again. Thanks for the video. Great job!

This RC is so different then modern day RC's. I feel like if I ever broke it I would cry because of how intricate it is.

Wow, you got the same motor and servo that I bought for my Kyosho Scorpion kit, however, it looks like you went all out and got a Kyosho ESC and receiver/radio as well. Looks very nice! I might end up doing the same as those components are reasonably priced. I've already got some ESC's and receivers but I think it will look better with all Kyosho electronics. Thanks for the build video.

Thanks Ace....The EP starter pack from Kyosho was $99 and included all the electronics I showed with the exception of a battery

I'm upgrading my Traxxas Slash 4X4 with RPM Parts and T-Bone Racing items overnight. I took the OBA out and put the original Body up. I bought a used Body from a friend for $20 and fixed the cracks and holes and reinforced it.

Waiting for parts.. Put a castle brushless system in my Stampede 4x4 and blew both rear plastic axle shafts. It was funny driving it around with front wheel drive

It's funny you ask ? I'm rebuilding a kyosho Sprint car. Tear down clean oil grease and I think I'ma put a castle creations set up. Sidewinder 3s2s? I hope . Thanks for asking .

Do not oil or grease the metal suspension bits...it just makes it wear out faster... use a pencil instead

Why do you need front hexes on a 2wd car?

99.9% of aftermarket rims and tires have hexes and not bearings , this limits the driveability a lot since you wont really find front rims anymore :( technically you dont need hexes but a lot of them do have em as 4wd rims have taken over and "bearing 2wd" rims are not reallly in production anymore
