I got one and bought some cheap 2s batteries with deans connectors and soldered them on to the boat and it give more speed and run time with faster charges amazing boat even without the modifications

I've had this boat for two years, it's a great boat. It's just a fun boat for younger kid too.

My son got me one for Christmas. Fun boat. I got it stuck on a submerged log for about 2 hours . But thankfully between the windy day and throttle rocking the boat I finally got it free.

It's just a UDI Voyager (discontinued). I believe my UDI Rapid is the newer version/design. $46 new 'buy now' on eBay. Got a two pack of 2800mah sm-4p 2S lipos on Amazon. I know you guys are all about that affiliated link, and the UDI Rapid is on Amazon for a little more than eBay.

This was my very first boat . Since then I have bought more expensive ones. But it still remains one of my favorite boats and I take out to Greer Lake in Orange County California all the time. A fantastic boat and good review.

I'd love to see you cover more about batteries. Particularly, battery run time per charge, dead to full charge time, number of batteries included, and price of additional batteries. Most seem to be rated around 15 minutes, but apparently most times are over estimates. So for anyone who wants to max their fun time (more than 10 minutes per outing), battery run time and extra batteries is going to be critical.

If you had to pick, what do you like better, the react or stealthwake?

Love this boat. My only complaint is how slow the battery charges and it looks like there is no way around it to getting a fast charger or find a different 4 prong battery. Overall it does great and once charged it is an absolute blast riding around.

A simple technical question. What's a good alternative for replacement chargers, that won't take forever? THE short run times, are annoying, but kids shouldn't have to wait for hours, every time they run. I can charge a 3S Lipo under twenty minutes, so what's the fix?

I have 2 of these. Great little boat for the bucks. Only thing I don't care for is the usb charging. Takes FOREVER, so I have a ton of batteries. LOL Any recommendation for a commercial grade charger for these little Lithium batteries to speed up the process?

Just got this for one of our "Junior sailors, " at the lake tonight. He was bit overwhelmed, and wasn;t quite sure, how everything worked.(That will come in time) BUT, the first question, "HOW long does it run? " on a single charge? My answer, " I don't know? Maybe, you guys can shed some light, and how long does it take to charge the batteries? I have always used , hobby grade chargers, SO I have no clue how long it takes? with USB. (I personally don't know, , why Pro Boat went down this avenue.) In my opion, they over complicated the process? ALSO, is it possible to bump the battery up.? NOT voltage , but MAH? This is a cool boat, horizon hobbies however has been pulling some crap lately, the umg10 6x6 has been discontinued because of an issue with one of the rear axles, instead of fixing it and making it right with their customers they yanked the rug out from under everyone who bought this $400 vehicle. This is just one example of a list of things they have been doing lately that don't have their customers best interest in mind. I will agree they do have good customer support for the most part and a pretty good warranty, but how about just making the products good to start with. Lord knows we pay enough for these hobby grade RC's. Look at all the problems people have had with the axial ryft or how they bought then canceled Vattera leaving all those customers out to dry. Anything from horizon is a hard sell for me now days. Anyway rant over for now, great video as always guys!

i have this boat and its trash in my opinion. it needs alot of upgrades and the servo is weak so steering is not good at all the $50 boat from harbor freight is dual 550 motors and is wayyy better..i like it but it needs alot of upgrades like all new electronics for starters

Looks like proboat send it to every KZfaqr they could find after a short search i found a Lot of Reviews which was uploaded in a short time. And If i remember the boat correct its Just cheap made china Plastik with no bearings instead they used plastic rings. If you are a Kid and this is Planer als a toy OK but expensive. For a Hobby? No way dont buy it for a little Bit more youll get a Hobby Grade one.
