@@topcat1358 They're obviously quite junior and lacking knowledge re this legislation (probably not their fault as they can't possibly know EVERYTHING) but looks like they had the best of intentions. They had to de-escalate a situation and keep the peace while struggling to find any legislation to help them do so and clearly they were more than happy when DJE offered to leave and thus de-escalate the situation. These aren't bad cops, they're good cops in the making imo. They just need experience and time will no doubt give them that.

dialing 999 is for emergencies only. There was no emergency to begin with to warrant a 999 call. All police have to use blues n 2s for all emergency calls.
