Dear Sri Professor Sir, Your speech about India or Bharat was good and thought--Provoking but somewhat seems to be deficient and defective, because, you simply confined yourself within 2500 years of History, then before that, you did not try to trace what might have been the History of our land. We know, the history of Buddha and before that, Jaina and during their periods, do you think, our land was without kings. We know, there must have been the pre-Buddha's and pre-Jaina's Family Traditions. Thus in the pre-historic period we can definitely know there had been The Vedic Traditions for which the Buddha and Jaina undeniably stand evidence. and the Vedic Traditions still living even up to the present day. So there is no other way but the Vedas for us to trace the Pre- History of the Bharat. Here the Rik Vedic Upanishad stands evidence for us to call our land as Bharat. There had been once 21 Sakas in Rik Vedas but now only 3 Sakas are available but 18 not available , then how can you Professor Sir dare to tell , there is no evidence of the word Bharat in the Rik Veda , even without knowing the complete 21Sagas. And again each Saka has 4 Kaandas, as Mantra, Brahmana , Aaranya, and Upanishad, thus without knowing completely, you cannot stand firm to tell an opinion, because, it will go wrong. So please go through the Rik Vedic Upanishad known as " Naada Bindu Upanishad " Verse No 12. Please think it over calmly and dispassionately. Thank you.

It's only in mid 1800's (1845 or so) that British came out with chartered act for all places it had control in India (at that time till 1947 there were many parts ruled by kings, eg, trivandrum, Mysore, kashmir and many more). With chartered act it made one rule of law for British ruled India. Prior to that or till 1947 there were never one country, it is artificially created nation with out the consent of people. Let's see how long it survives and how many life's will be lost before people realise the authoritative central government atrocities.

Constitution starts with "India that is Bharat". Thought these "intellectuals" who keep talking about the constitution should know. May be they are just propagandists.
