+Sydney D I love church and may God bless it, but there is a lot of hypocrisy there. I don't believe you will ever truly get to know a man or woman in the church setting. Check how they live their life from Monday to Saturday when no brethren are watching them. That's when you get to know the real them.

Oh btw i forgot to add to my comment: a man can also have a relationship with God outside of church. You dont have to go to church to prove yourself. If you as a man or woman go to church on a first date just for the sake of showing that you have a relationship with Him, I suggest that Jesus takes the wheel on that one, cuz that ain't right.

But no one ever said you would and that's not the point. You can go bowling on a first date and STILL have to get to know that person outside of that atmosphere. That could be said about any date. No one said that you could get to know them fully at church. It's common sense that you'd have to get to know hem outside of church in their everyday life. That's what dating is for. As for me, I don't mind going church on a first date. Especially if that's what we both enjoy doing.

Empressive i think that's a great idea. I am not a christian but I would absolutely go to a religious function with my date. Lunh after is even morenperfect because then you can talk avout what you experienced and what you think about religion and so on and so forth. So the conversation is not so forced and you don't have to go throigh all the standard quetions right away. I think an activity for a first date is always a good idea. It takes away the pressure somewhat.
