By the way, the car is looks like a mid 1950s Porsche 356 speedster and her outfit and hair are mid 1960s and the song is like a modern retro with a nostalgic feel to it. Angie’s Jazzy pop. Album is suppose to be out between June and Fall of 2023. Already know your telling everyone about it. It's #1 in Norway right now. Everywhere else it's in the top 100. So we have to get people to download it from iTunes etc and ask the radio stations to play it. If she doesn't get that up to #1 in the US it won't be a Grammy. We have less than 2 weeks to do so. So lets get to it fans/angels. This is more of an adult contemporary style Jazzy pop. Cause Angelina isn't like most teenagers. The song is about Love, not as being in love. But Love itself, as if it was a person. Something tangible. Like looking Love in the eye, holding it, like holding God.

She remains the girl with 1000 voices. This is but one of them. She will always be rooted in jazz. But she changes her delivery for whatever the song calls for.

Yes I agree Angelina is a genius. Sky is the limit for her.17 years old and Carrie’s herself like an artist of 40-50 years experience. Best new artist maybe. Get out and support her. When Angelina was seven years old she told the Norway's Got Talent audience that she wanted to be a superstar. That was not a dream, it was a plan. Now here she is, poised to make her wish (and ours) come true. That is why she has opted for a more poppy sound that will fly across the airwaves and catch the wider audience who still don't know her. I wish her the very best of luck and cross my fingers for her, because the life of a superstar is not without immense pressures and problems. Yes I totally agree with all what you are saying. I have the same feelings about this song and video as you have. What I find very beautiful about the video is the fact that Angelina's grandmother (an artist herself) has her part in it and you really can see the love between the two. She accompanies Angelina almost everywhere she goes since she was a little child, and she is the one who was probably the first person who had the feeling that Angelina was blessed with a special vocal / musical gift when she was still a baby, a gift we all now admire so much. That her family has given her the chance to chase her dream 'when I am grown up I want to be a superstar and sing for everybody in the World' from early on and fully supports that is awesome. When you see Angelina performing on stage in whatever video: you can see how she feels as a fish in the water.

J, dont get too worried. This is a particular Amy style voice she uses when appropriate in her mind. You can see from her Suspicious Minds performance, completely different voice. This song gets better with every listen. I too was noticing how original she sounds here.

This sounds more like the garage toks and her own input where recent produced videos seemed more by label design until she honed her style enough to capture it permanently. This has hints of LP

I am really looking forward to her album, this is such a wonderful start. And I’m also wondering how many “voices” she’ll give us, she has so very many to choose from. You and I both. Reactions. Some say that Angelina makes her voice sound like theirs. I'm not hearing that. I'm hearing them come through her. I know that sounds way out there. But I'm fortunate enough to be able to take that fully into account and say it. I hear Amy Winehouse come through. Crazy...but true.

No her voice had that mature sweet and sour old soul in it at 10, she could just simply switch it on or off, she simply did not have the power base and weight in her voice to carry it off as an adult. I'm Still Holding Out For You is absolute Genius Interpretation, at 10 she was better than any of her Adult Peers, people just need to listen. She does now lol, the comparisons to other Jazz singers is fine because she blends elements of so very many of them, she is the most complex jazz vocalist ever, and yet sounds unlike any of them doing it, she Interprets anything she sings like it's brand new even if she has done it many times before, she understands the Genre like no one else I know, it is an Instinct. When she sings here you get the History of Jazz walking by in Polka Dot Platforms, if we could we should all thank Billie Holiday for the Legacy, AJ is her greatest Compliment, Billie would be Elated.

Yes, Angelina's voice has continued to develop as a consequence of her growing up. Think about this: her "instrument", her larynx, vocal cords, etc. will not be fully matured for about another decade. When she's 26 or 27, her vocal instrument will have been fully physically developed. Angelina ALWAYS sings to the requirements of the song at hand, regardless of what genre, since she can sing virtually any genre of popular music. She can still "channel" Ella Fitzgerald if the song asks for it in her eyes, but this song required a different approach. She is also known as "the girl of 1000 voices" for a reason. I would be shocked if there weren't a whole variety of vocal approaches reflected in the songs on her forthcoming album, such that they might sound very, very different from one another.

Hi there .. as always .. expect the unexpected when it comes to Angelina .. my guess .. all the Covers she did so far are only practice for her and all those turned out spectacular as we know .. all those help Angelina to define her own style and Path she will go .. that might be changed over time but its still Angelina ... Actually she reminded me how she initially started "I Put a Spell on You" with the low raspy register. She can switch her voice based on the song and what she want's it to sound like hence the thousand voices. Angelina composed a brilliant song and sounds tasteful singing it.

Angelina adapts her voice to the needs of the song or genre - That is why she is known as the Woman of 1,000 Voices. I wouldn't be surprised if she uses a variety of voices on her forthcoming EP which is expected in June.

The first singer to redefine the genre of jazz was Billie Holiday and let us not forget that Angelina has placed Billie Holiday on the furthest top of the pedestal that no other singer shares with her. Think of the hundreds of A-List singers Angelina has heard in her life and you realize how special she regards Ms. Holiday. Add to this the fact that she has stated, 'There would be no Angelina if not for Billie Holiday'. A higher compliment than that is not even possible to comprehend. Everyone should listen to the library of recordings made by Billie, who was a troubled young girl and woman who had no mentors and simply went directly to singing in Harlem night clubs to make her mark as a 'one of a kind' jazz/blues singer.

After reading the lyrics, I believe this song is part of the grieving process for Angelina and Mery. We shed millions of tears listening to "Million Miles" but that was the start of the grieving process. Now a few years later, this song shows they are ready to move forward while still remembering their departed loved ones. Love the smiles and little laugh between Angelina and Mery at the end of the video.

Her primary vocal transition started when she was 10 years old. After that, it was pure maturation and technique learning to work with her instrument to it's fullest extent.

So I'll call you Bob Randall from now on😁 I understand where you come from when you say that you feel that her voice has matured recently and that this song is a 180 compared to what you were expecting. But I'm not totally in the same boat. Of course her voice is maturing now, around the age she's at, but at the same time I know for a fact that this style of singing is something that she chooses to do. She wants to sound like this. For this song. And potentially for the whole album, even potentially for the rest of her career. BUT at the same time I know that she could have sounded in SO many different ways. Her relatively recent TikToks in the parking garage proves this beyond any doubt. So I was not as surprised as you were. Frankly, I was almost expecting exactly this. At least after I learned that her album will have a 60's vibe to it. I think we will see performances by her outside of those on the album, and we will get proof yet again that she can do whatever she wants with her voice. Even at age 18 and beyond. it will change again depending on the song. That's one of the many things that make her unique. Next song may sound like Ella, or Amy, or Adele......You probably don't do tik tok, but she does little clips of a variety songs in many different voices and she pulls them all off.

Her voice have grown richer, stronger, and more powerful. The texture of it all is absolutely mind blowing..A voice that stirs and soothes your soul..It can evoke so many emotions in you...She forces you to feel and be in touch with all your feelings...She helps you journey thru it all with her voice...OMG, how I so love this song..Chills and goosebumps never stop each time I listen to it...Great reaction my friend. Honestly I can say this is not my favorite angelina performance but it is growing on me as I listen to it for about Twenty five times now either off her channel or reactors. It is what it is and the style that it is with the tone that she gave us... one of many.

Your usual great reaction, Mr J. Angelina is very hard to describe without superlatives or hyperboles, but we feel they are not exaggerations. This new release is a perfect example of why we almost froth at the mouth in anticipation of what she might sing next...a bit of hyperbole there, perhaps.

This certainly has "hit" written all over it but the only misgivings I have about the song and they're not really bad but are because many people when they first hear this will be hearing her for the first time and they will compare her to Adele as far as the sound of her voice and they won't yet know just how phenomenal her vocal capacity is because this song doesn't really show off how grand/massive her voice truly is. Of course it's Jazzy and catchy and that's probably intentional, I just hope the EPA has a number of songs that show off her belting range and her more lyrical qualities as well like in Million Miles and 7th Heaven and Shield. But she has always exhibited incredibly wise musical choices, so I trust she knows what she's doing in order to draw in new fans😊
