Great history from Gerald Home. I'm not an American so the historical background gives a better perspective of the plight of black men and women. It also reaffirms my dislike of the Clintons. Trump needs no such affirmation. • I so hope Bernie is president in 2020. America deserves an honest President who actually cares for the people, regardless their paycheques, the colour of their skin or differences of any kind. We all bleed red and all shed tears, as my grandmother used to say. • So please to hear Mr Home speak of nonsense regarding China. I'm sure he is also well versed on Putin and Russia. The lies spouted about Putin, election entanglements and Syria are so flagrantly out of touch with reality. Americans are waking up.

Reagan was a union supporter. He was once head of the movie union ACTRA/SAG. Like he said- The union broke the agreement asking for 17x more. He didn't lie. Why did they complain about over work, understaffed, stress and think allot more money would fix that. That money goes to them. They don't hire more staff or reduce work schedules. They are also Federal employees. Privat sector unions are never as well off as them nor do they have anything to worry from Reagan who has no say on any non-gov't, unions, You are listening to propaganda BS.

I have not watched RN in a while and after watching I'm remembering why. The progressive media institutions that have influence and the ears of the public neglect analyzing the base assumptions to which the political landscape conforms. That is, they don't question the underlying psychological conditioning of markets and it's causal link to so much corruption their networks cover and claim to be against. RN should start educating it's audience on new social systems that are not a function of markets, but of the responsible use technology to make our lives better, cooperation and human need. This guest is interesting, but we know all this already. Let's talk about how we can use technology to design a new society and new institutions that don't help perpetuate the political corruption being discussed here. The lack of this type of content is one of the biggest FAILURES of progressive networks like this one.

Emmanuel Tomes ,you've overshot the target. Zeitgeist movement,Venus Project,etc. It's going to take a long time to elevate humanity to those levels,we don't have that kind of time.

I don't quite understand what you mean. Yes it will take time, but the sooner we start discussing these ideas realistically in major forums the better. Responsible institutions should be talking about these things, regardless of time constraints. That's not really an objection, since what ever progressive action we do take will need to be grounded in addressing and systemically solving problems and avoiding the terrible bi products we currently deal with in our system. RN is a media channel. They have plenty of time and resources to make the videos they are currently making, so I would argue that they have time to delve into, at least philosophically as a means to educate, realistic and tenable social remedies that aren't simple political band aids.

TwinShadowX no president is perfect they all have negativity but with Obama there is so many things to talk about... normalized relations with Cuba , withdrawal of all troops from Iraq getting bin laden the Paris climate agreement the iran deal
