From a dietary perspective, going keto would be the most efficient for weight and overall efficiency, you'll have less hunger and less need to go #2. Fishing should help you, but id definitely bring plenty of keto powder for emergency rations if nothing else. Almond and oat milks keep without refrigeration. Ive lived off powdered milk and keto powder for 2 and 3 months at a time in the Backcountry, with some trout thrown in.

Hope he bulks way up beforehand. The current record holder lost a lot of weight, and could not walk when at landfall. I've read the book.

@@eugenedreyer4805 I've been on it for 5 years and I'm in the best shape of my life. It's well known that a ketogenic diet has dramatic benefits over a plant based or high carb/ sugar diet. Let me guess, you want him to be vegan. That's your religion. Keep it to yourself.

Monohull sailboats naturally roll themselves back upright if they roll over, the ballast in the keel ensures that

It's designed to roll in rough conditions, amd also designed relatively lightly ballasted so that when it comes up, the rig comes up too....

Pretty cool! How many miles per day will you have to average before you run out of food? Are you planning on taking any fishing gear to supplement your diet ?

No, the northern routes not as good as the southern route for fish, I have over 90 dsys special food onboard, and will be monitoring progress and adjust if taking longer, the food is very high calorie, so can stretch it out in necessary.

I'm sure you've done the homework but, that perspex hatch looks feeble. Even the latches don't look up to task. If it gets rolled by a sizable wave, the rig will get trashed. Imagine being in heavy heaving seas with a tangle of broken pipes and lines thrashing around. With waves washing over, you can't open the hatch to cut it loose or secure it. But if it keeps pounding the perspex, it's going to break. Then, being in heavy weather with no hatch and bailing for all your worth. Needs something stronger, at least put some protective bars across the top, and over spec latches to hold it shut. I'm sure you're all over it and it's stronger than it looks, but it looks to feeble to contend with damaged rigging.
