Ty roku guide I was stumped on how to explain what a roku is and does to my mum as I was telling her I was going to have one instead of say direct tv in order to save money when I move out. So really thanks !

My first Rocky video. Have had my Roku 3 for maybe 3 years, have not used it a whole lot, but I think after watching your video, I may be using it a lot more! Very clear and precise, well done, and I look forward to seeing more about what my Roku 3 is capable of. Thanks! PS-I cut my cable about 5 years ago, and I have never regretted it. I don't miss the hefty bills, lol.

Wow - Thank You ! I thought Roku was a new Salad Dressing or something until I noticed it was on a new TV I just got. Was in Panic Mode ( PM) till I found your Channel just now. *Roku Guy* ... I needed this video before I bought my *Roku Express* two months ago. Only paid $29.95. I use the *Roku Express* stick to watch shows from *AcornTV* displayed on my big screen TV instead of my pc monitor. ;-))

Thanks for your extreme info. Dad gave me a fire fox remote. But I’m finding. Roku has more help in what I need. But I wanted to see what it looked like. You explain it well. I have been trying to find how to uninstall one device and changing it. From fire to roku. Any tip?

I'm still confused over why i should by a smart Tv or Smart Blu ray player. I'm seeing ads that mention Andriod , google , Microsoft . I just want to watch TV , this is like StarBucks where i need a decoder ring just for a basic coffee with milk and sweetner.

Thank You for your Roku knowledge. I just found, and subscribed to your channel. I am about to "cut the cord" from cable but like anything else having to do with internet technology, I'm lost. I dont have a Smart TV so I was told that I need to get a Roku. I have a couple of questions. 1.) I have a Panasonic Viera TV but I don't have the TV's remote. Do I need to tv's remote to set up Roku? Also, I have 3 tvs, do I need a Roku device for each tv and do they function independently? I look forward to your other videos. Patrick

Thanks for doing this. I've been streaming and using a fire stick for a while, but my daughter's 'smart' DVD died and I was considering a new streaming option. Informative. I think people who gave it a thumbs down did so because it is very basic. But, I think your intent was just that!, too provide the basics. Keep it up!

Can you check if there is an APP, ENCORETVB for Roku ? It is available from Apple TV. EncoreTVB is mainly a Hong Kong Chinese channel from their USA branch.

Can you tell me how to organize the homepage tiles on my 2 Roku TV's ? Every time I try and put these tiles into some semblance of order, I feel like I am trying to do a rubriks cube that has no solution.
