Kiplimo will be better with time. Please I want you to do a video of Wilson Kipsang who has indicated his intention to come back to marathon running. I am a fan of Wilson Kipsang. Please do a video on his possibility of coming back stronger. Thanks

Where does it all end in these Road Races from 5 Kilometres to The Marathon ? Handicapping is not being considered, YET, so the rest of the hapless runners will just have to rely on Runners of the calibre of Jacob Kiplimo not being able to consistently do such feats due to the mind and body rejecting the punishment. Old saying in Horse-Racing, “ They all come back to the field, “ Kiplimo and the rest of his elite Road-Running Genre will, they all do !

Hope he learns from it. There is something to learn from EVERY race. I learned from it. I am trying for a division record myself in May and this is useful to me.

Aren't there kilometer markers on the course and doesn't he wear a watch, and couldn't he memorise the time he expects to get to each kilometer marker - or write them on his forearms? Surely that should be enough.

It would help if a timer was at every KM to call out splits. Looking at your watch is hard when you are moving that fast, and it takes your focus away from your effort. @@williamverhoef4349

With no pacers he had no chance at the world record. Still, it was a good time.

@@lawbsk1048 The record was set by Phonex Kipruto in 2020. The speed is too high any pacer who could run that fast for five kilometers is already an elite athlete.
