Prince Blake different people have different tastes , what gives you the right to ridicule somebody? just because you do not agree with it doesn't make it wrong. As is typical with people on youtube only their opinion is right...as you said "lol, youtube"

Adrian Goodison News flash KZfaq police. opinions work both ways. I have the "right" to ridicule his/her exaggeration of Hannahs looks as much as you have the "right" attack an inane joke. People must not disagree with you often (they probably do but find confronting you exhausting , like this conversation).

I've just finished doing this for the second day - and I love it. It really helps me to do this first, and then an Eastern style meditation to clear the air after I put everything in order. I had previously only been doing Eastern style meditation and was VERY frustrated that it didn't let me deal with thoughts that came up, but this mix of both is wonderful! It can be a hassle though. Philosophical meditation took me an hour today... I hope it gets to be more like 20 minutes the more you do it?

Thank you all so much for a lovely evening of ideas and intellectual company as I've worked on the tedious side of a project on my computer. Sometimes it was simply reminding me of certain things I passionately enjoyed learning about and discussing in the lovely rich days in university, while I also learned some fantastic things and gained some new perspectives. It is so uplifting just to hear such bright people speaking with such eloquence and perception and benevolence across such a broad range of topics, especially in our current complicated and muddled times of looming transition and old orders and ideologies clashing so blindly against the new. Beautiful job on everything. You are beautiful people. Thanks for the boost of knowledge and optimism for humankind.

I found this video to be extremely helpful for coping with anxiety. I think that should praised rather than heralding misogynistic comments about physical attractiveness. I had to watch that three times to take it all in because the beautiful woman was distracting me. So here I am writing about it. Seriously though I went to rehab nearly dead three years ago and was made meditate twice a day for twenty minutes and write in a book. At some stage since then, though I've stayed sober, I stopped writing in the book and meditating. I've grown steadily more anxious. I'm excited for things that I see as real possibilities now but I'm also so afraid of failure that it's holding me back. Inaction leads to frustration which leads to anger and bitterness, anxiety and depression. All while forgetting the achievements made and not seeing the irrationality of the fears that bind. I've watched all the videos you guys put out and I think perhaps this is the most important of all and I will certainly be sharing it. Thank you all.

You have helped me to reach for a better version of myself, a wiser and more spiritual version. If it's not too much to ask, I would love if you could create a video about Hate, more precisely how it can impact someone, in a good or bad way. Can it be overcome? Should it be? I may be sounding a bit demanding, but this could guide me very much. Thank you guys for your great job.

I had stumbled upon a half-baked version of such a philosophical meditation when analysing my anxieties initiated by an existential crisis the past 3 years. I had an understanding that some of my anxieties were silly, but I didn't know how to put it in perspective. Then upon understanding the ubiquitous nature of the scientific method in human interactions, I applied it to my anxieties to weed out the outlandish ones and put in perspective the realistic ones, with regards to likelihood and intensity. What especially resonates with me is the preparing for the worst aspect, which was especially helpful in managing the anxiety I had during my finals examinations.

I think working with your mind as in asking yourself question certainly has it's place but not as a substitute for meditation. I've tried both for years with meditation being the far more effective one, simply investigating my beliefs didn't really bring peace, well, maybe a little bit was of peace was gained when I received insight. I found that moving to stillness through meditation actually automatically brings up the beliefs that are out of balance with yourself.

Wonderful Usfull helpfull Video- One observation which you may agree with{ or not} ia as follows:- The severity of the anxious thoughts/troubles may not be solved using Philosphical Mediation quickly /or in the worst case never. I think the "one glove fits all approach sadly does not work for everyone"- perhaps through due to ignorance/ resistance to try or even simply"what works for some people may not for others". However I think it is a beautiful approach to try to help people deal with their problems.-Busker Steve.

Thank you so much for this video. I've always had trouble buying into standard forms of meditation, as I felt that they did not truly help the situation, but rather distracted your mind for a time. This is the perfect means of organizing my thoughts. :)

Been spending the whole day just an anxious wreck, and this helped to calm me down a ton. So glad I stumbled onto this channel a week before :)

I've started doing something very similar to this about a year ago, except I just sat on the balcony and talked out loud instead of writing things down. It helps me a great deal, I always feel a bit more fresh afterwards. I encourage everybody to try it at least once.

Xi bar English isn't my first language, sorry if it actually means sitting on the railing, or something, I have a chair on my balcony, on which I sit, obviously :D

Thank you for this very helpful insight. I always attempt to sit in solitude and meditate the "proper" way but there has always been too much internal chatter. This is exactly what I believe will be of great benefit to me.

Fantastic video, and excellent accompanying written guide. I will be utilizing this advice as soon as I watch the video over a few more times just to make sure that I caught every lovely word.

This - particularly the analysis of my own emotional condition and state of mind - is something I've actually done since my early teen years. I've been enjoying this channel on a level I can't begin to describe, I suppose I just figured out why - like-minded people :)
