Canadian has literally been to 3 out of the 4 S.I. grand finals and won 2 of them. He may choke but he clearly shows up where it matters the most.

My favorite thing about him is that he never made excuses, he understood that all his losses were just cause the other team played better and EG didn't. Great video even tho I already knew everything that was gonna be mentioned lol

Canadian is like Thor. He had his hammer and he was worthy but he was humbled to the point that he questioned if he could still lift it, if he was still worthy, if he was still capable. These questions dragged him down and doubt filled his mind but he pushed through determined to show his worth and in the end he reclaimed the hammer, he proved to himself and everyone else that he isnt a one and done winner, that he can carry the hammer. He showed the non-believers that if he puts himself to the task he can still hoist the hammer after having it taken from his grasp. Now he just needs to continue to pick it up again and again to prove that not only can he lift it, he can carry it like he owns it.

I love these stories. You all have the greatest esports news/commentary/documentaries out there. Please keep up these sorts of amazing stories. You make me feel like I connect with these players of games I don't even play or watch normally. I feel the emotions they do through your stories and it makes me care about what happens to them.

I watched this game live on stream and there were a few goose bump moments. They were down and the crowd was silent until they started swinging back. Then one of the casters started hyping the crowd back up and the energy was palpable even through a screen. There was also a shot where fans in the crowd had their phone flashlights out and that was such a stunning shot.

I went to this years invitational. We had are phones out and made it look like there where stars in the crowd. 80% of the crowd was screaming for ssg. Crowd was insane.

I wont forget the whole stadium yelling "ssg, ssg, ssg!"

I was at the invitational and had to leave mid grand final to catch my flight back home, i left and it looked like NIP had it in the bag. When i boarded the plane my Twitter feed was blowing up with SSG won the invitational and i missed one of the best comebacks ever.

I remember flipping my sh!t whe continuum won, I remember watching King George and Canadian play and lift the hammer and I giggled at how short George was although it made me kinda sad when they disbanded and KG left. God I love R6

After watching Canadian for years now in pro league and seeing him rise to the top to seeing him fall, it brought me to tears watching NA bring in the victory at this years SI tournament. What a great showdown these guys had and a huge congratulations to SSG for their win.

I would like to highlight one moment I thought was note worthy of the grand final, so SSG vs NiP Club House, Round 4 and the round finishes in NiP's favor giving them a 4 - 0 lead. 3 round wins away from the championship. The crowd begins to rally behind SSG being the last chance for NA. Michael Stockley (R.I.P) the announcer turns to the crowd of North American supporters chanting SSG and says "This is the moment guys... they need everything you can give them." Parker his co-host reiterates to the crowd "Why don't you give them a cheer... as loud as you can, they desperately need it to be in this match" They cheered, loudly and proudly. As the first kill gets marked for SSG the crowd wakes up, cheering louder on each kill and the follow up plant of the defuser. They didn't stop, winning more and more rounds taking down NiP at clubhouse and ultimately winning the Grand Final in superior fashion against them. To me this was the origin of the comeback in the Grand Final and came back full circle for the Greatest Redemption.
