@@saeedatenzi "As pointless as NA esports" NA has proven repeatedly to be a threat to EU teams in Siege though. EG vs Empire, SSG vs G2 (SI 2019 QF), Hell, EG vs Penta (SI 2018), DZ vs NaVi (Tokyo PL Finals 2019). NA is weaker than EU as a region, yes, but they have certainly been a force against LATAM and APAC (ignoring FNATIC vs EG of course, since that was a total embarassment for NA).

@steelerfan77777 the invitational is the World Cup in r6s there are minors majors and the invitational which when a team wins they become world champions. Canadian won the 2020 invitational and played amazing. Pino lost to Canadian and ssg in the grand finals since NIP lost to SSG. As for joystick empire played horribly and didn’t even make it out of groups.

As an EG fan this breaks my heart, I am a Canadian fan and he was the reason that we did choke but him leaving EG has changed everything. He was the reason the team had structure and teamwork, he brought methodical plays when they needed to adapt, EG lack that now.

Technically pengu is the only one from the original penta and won the first pl. Only then fabian and the rest joined

Pengu was on the original roster that formed in early 2016 and is the only player still on the team from the original Penta roster. Check your facts before spewing bullshit. Fabian was their 9th player to join the roster

Watching the clip in the beginning I noticed Canadian had Vigil's K1A at max ammo, and the CZ at max as well. IDK why he would choose the CZ with its notoriously bad gun sight. Sure the fire rate, but that sight is just god awful. The ultimate OOF when that happened.

my heart has broken in nearly a million pieces when i watched the invitational in 2018 with my bud, cheering for EG. After them, loosing more and more finals we decided to make our joke "i won't watch finals if EG gets to the finals" a serious thing. Not because we lost the passion for this amazing roster, but we just couldn't watch them fail again in a match like the invitational it happened for the first time... and now the roster falls appart, it hurts a lot because we won't see these guys lifting a trophy in the sky together after all these öainful experiences the team went through :(

Dude, seriously, the term "throw" wasn't originally a joke. It's an actual term to mean that someone intentionally loses a game. Getting vocab incorrect for a "gag" truly shows how dumb you are, along with everyone that uses it. A joke is only funny when it has some truth to it. "Throw" is not interchangeable with "choke," dumbass.

I understood the joke. You're just an idiot. See, the joke has to use the correct terminology for it to be funny. If it doesn't, it's just stupid because the one delivering it doesn't fully understand the use of the word they're trying to use ("throw" in this case, when the moment was a choke). You're better off using that joke regarding Condi from League of Legends (a Chinese pro player who was busted for match fixing earlier this year when they discovered that he _actually threw_ games).

G2 fan here (old Penta) I felt down when it got 0-2 so I clicked off and then watched the rest the day after. I was confused why the match lasted 2 more hours after that map and I was so happy when we actually won

My favourite moment from the Milano Grand Final was when the chat started to spam Hey, team EG, my son is a huge fan of yours. Anyway over the past few days of watching you play this game hes got much better at playing baseball (he plays in the 11-13 year old division). I just wanted to stop by and thank you for teaching him how to throw so well.

Nice copypasta. Learn to use the term correctly before using it again. Someone taking a bribe to intentionally lose a game, _that's_ a throw. The term in the video title is correct: they simply choked. I think 2018 was also the time that people were accusing Joystick and karzheka of using aimbots, with compelling video evidence.

In Siege, NA teams have a reputation for shitting the bed against EU and (sometimes) APAC. As previously mentioned, Six Invitational 2018 (EG vs Pent Grand Finals, 3-0), Paris Major (EG vs G2 Grand Finals, 3-0), Season 8 PL Finals (EG vs Fnatic, 0-2; Rogue vs Nora-Rengo, 1-2), Six Invitational 2019 (SSG vs G2 1-2, Reciprocity vs G2 0-2), Season 9 PL Finals(EG 0-2 Empire, DZ 0-2 Empire), Season 10 PL Finals (REC vs NaVi 1-2, DZ vs NaVi 0-2). Thats mainly because EU is much, much more competetive in comparison to NA (For instance, Empire and BDS Esport, a rising PL team, were both tested in the fires of EU Challenger League), and APAC has a very agressive and explosive style due to the massive differences in meta compared to say... NA and LATAM (LATAM being known for slightly more aggressive play than NA, only exception being NA's Luminosity Gaming, known for their incredibly aggressive style even before they entered Pro League).
