I stumbled across this video. I grew up being physically abused. Not feeling loved. I’ve struggled with addictions most of my life. I understand myself a little bit better after watching this. Thank you.

I often plant the seeds , but I never give them time to grow , let alone " florish / bloom " ..... I've missed out on wonderfull people and chances because of it ... Really makes me sad , because I know I do it ... 😢😢😢😢😢 I love listening to you for inspiration ... ( am a dental hygenist ) But wishing I could earn my money painting portraits ... lost the love of my life by pushing him away ... through / by acting dispicable towards him ... 😥 Kind of beating him to the punch . ( So I thought ) Wanted to be ahead of him pushing me away ... which he didn't want to do at all as I later found out . But then it was too late . Anyway , you make SO MUCH SENSE !!! 👍❤💖❤ I truly love you for the person / woman you are ... You exude / radiate positivity and love ... I feel comforted and very supported by it ... I am 58 now and had to learn to love my own company . My mother hates me ... allways has , had me at barely 16 ... and according to her I ruined her life . I have no relationship with my kids ... Be4 my divorce I did , after they chose to abandon me . Why ? Because according to them I exposed them too long to a bad situation ... Guess they're right , but I stayed to protect them from their own father ... until they were old enough ... 18 + ... I don't feel like I'm deserving of love at all . All I know is 23 years of mental , fysical & sexual abuse ... Hence my divorce ... Raped as a young girl in primary school , and parents who made me feel like it was my own fault ... send me to my room ... I really do not know , what MY reason is , for being here , my purpose ??? Am I deservant of love ? Eventhough I failed so miserable at life ... I love you dear lady , thanks a million for making your shows !!! ❤💖❤🦋 I have saved in the past 11 years what I could ... ( since divorce 2009 ) But at the same time I'm stuck with €80.000 Euros in debt . Happens often after divorce . ( X owes €40.000 & so do I ) . Split down the middle . It's holding me back from entering into a new relationship , as I see myself as a burden . At 58 I'm too young to be alone . I'd love to find the real love of my life . I wouldn't ask for much , just to be loved and have company . Marisa , should you read this , and have some advise 4 me , I'll leave you my email adres ..... Weirdest experience , I try to scream , but no sound comes out ... even when she leaves me alone in her consultation room ... I might never learn ... or get out of the repression ... Yes - we confuse repression with depression. 👍🏻But I do think people intuitively believe they deserve more (it’s just hidden behind their resistance). Otherwise they wouldn’t seek help in therapy to feel better. 🦋💕

Thank you Marisa. My husband and my mother in law (she is my external critic) both commented on my having written "I am enough" on our main level/guest bathroom mirror. They loved it. I was not expecting that. My family friend commented on the kids magnet messages saying "I am enough" and "I am worth it" on our fridge. Saying he really liked it.

Hi Marisa, could you make a video about dealing with learning disabilities in adult life? I do have non-verbal learningdisorder (= difficulties with practical skills in internships and jobs) and I would love to have advice how to adopt to new skills and how to be open when apply for new jobs.

“I survived all that”, I do well for a while and I forget about all the things I’ve survived and return to to the idea that I don’t deserve the things I wan.

I would like to ask you a question and it is I felt numb towards my wife when I was married and didn't have any love for her or my children, would that mean I hadn't been loved sometime in my childhood? There was a boy who was born dead before me and there wasn't much said about how he died and I never questioned my Mother about it.
