I love Warframe buh the game needs some work to grow its playerbase and keep it

I personally find more fun in less popular f2p games like Rogue Company, Diabotical, World War 3, Deceit, Shatterline, Bloodhunt, etc.. Team Fortress 2 is great though

Warframe is a game which takes time to get engaged with. It is not a game that easy to get in, the initial missions and main history ones up to the second dream, where the whole game starts to unfold is not and investment everyone makes. Is always hilarious reviews from content creators that didn't make it far and gave their opinion. Like you mentioned is grindframe, there is a point which you reach and become op, there is no skill challenges and you just come and go with expansions. I love the game, best looter shooter imo. And yes it has found his niche player base, and does not try to get new players or keeping them. They have what they have, and they are happy with it

New f2p games? Please give City of Heroes (resurrected on Homecoming) a go, especially if you never played it back in the day. It's what I've been playing the most in recent months. The custume designer alone fullfills any alt-o-holic's cosplay fetish and is worth the price of admission alone (which I know is zero, so perhaps I should say, I'd pay full price just for that if I had to!).

Would legit be playing lost ark full time, but I refuse to go back until they A) fix the bots, just hundreds and hundreds of them from the main starting area on and it hasn't been fixed since launch, B) they give us an option to turn off player cosmetics. Nothing ruins immersion more than seeing some idiot run by in a bright pink bunny suit or a rainbow panda suit or a pear suit riding a flamboyant or sparkly mount or whatever bs they come up with. It is such a turn off.

Have been playing cs since version 1.4, can't find any other game that would scratch the competitive itch. Solo experience is terrible though, I never queue up without 2-3 people, would rather lick toilets than go for solo matchmaking.

You can't really claim lost ark is big....remove half of the players on SteamCharts cuz of bots, then lets see where it stands... its not that populated, it has basically failed due to how shit they are at dealing with bots.
