I was given a Nissan Armada while my car was in the body shop. Terrible vehicle and the Infiniti QX80 is same except for luxury seats and badging. It sucked gas like it was free and the ride was horrible. Glad to have my Mercedes S class back. Great video.

Not sure what year of ux you're referencing, but with the 2023 year, Lexus made significant changes, including numerous new spot welds that have markedly improved refinement and riding manners. I just got a 2024 and love it. No, it's not going to be as insular as an RX, but it's a subcompact. I have already put 1600 miles on mine and I think it just glides over the majority of road services. Yes, when you demand full throttle, it becomes a little noisy, but the CVT is perfect and keeps things very quiet under most conditions. If you're looking for a sports car, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a fuel-sipping, luxurious subcompact with a beautifully appointed interior, then I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also, if you research reliability, the UX has some of the most impressive stats of any vehicle within any car brand. Most people think that hybrids are less reliable, but the particular drivetrain used in the UX has been known to go for 500,000 to 1,000,000 miles! I wouldn't keep a BMW, Mercedes, Audi or other luxury brand if it was given to me. They may be nice and fun at first, but they will drain your wallet fast with repair and high cost maintenance. My UX uses regular gas and has great technology! The touch pad has now been replaced with either an 8" or 12" screen. Mine is sharp and responsive. Take a test drive!

the 2 series can be had in 4x4 with a rwd bias. also, the 1 series, which is unavailable in america, has also transitioned to fwd in 2019. i own the last 1 series rwd model (f20 lci) with standard tranny. lovely little car.

I'm sorry Buick doesn't sell cars over here but you call that thing a premium car..? A premium brand has high prices from new compared to standard car brands and obviously has nice high quality interiors speaking of having leather, wood, aluminum, metal and maybe a reputation.. I guess Genesis just popped up and they want to be a player but they have nice interior materials but they sell a 1000 something vehicles a year here, Lexus sold barely 3500 units but they at least deliever again with nice interior materials. But Buick is non of that, just some old Opel elements.. If I got Cadillac as a premium brand which serves in this category for me and you have Chevrolet as a cheap(er) normal brand why would you need Buick? I heard that Buick is the old peoples car brand.

The BMW X1, X2 and the 2 series Gran Coup do use the same platform as the Mini Countryman, but many other nice cars too, it just isn't up to *traditional* BMW RWD based snob standards. They are still excellent cars for what they are

I disagree with the review on the Buick Encore GX, they do have AWD and compared to a high end BMW or other luxury cars they are more affordable. Considering the small engine they are actually faster than you think and driving to work they are more than capable. The interior is actually good quality and has some very nice safety features as well as heated seats and steering wheel.

I just test drove Civics vs ILX... bought the ILX, what a car!!! Civics ride like a Civic (I have had 4), ILX rides like a dream. The power of my SI with the comfort and ride of an Acura. You can get a loaded used 2019-2022 Acura ILX Premium A-Spec with super low miles for $2k-3k less than a new Honda Civic Sport and $5k-6k cheaper than an Si. BTW... they don't make the ILX anymore so you are making a moot point.
