Quick comment. So never seen your channel but always love wood content things getting sawed. Anyways the algurythm may have found this video for me. Furthermore and this is why Im commenting, if it were me right after that speech you did here saying your doing an old mans tree free tomorrow as a gift to him and the channel makes $500 a video over last 4 video if it were me I'd have said to the audience so folks if your new to the channel and want to see and help me do things free for folks subscribe leave a comment and a thumb as youtube notices and it helps me. This way you levitate from 106k subs to 2OOK in subs. You let the audience know your subscribing means your helping one person a time from the comfort of your home to do something for someone. Make out like its the audience doing the work and you sir are just the messenger. This surely would sky rocket your channel / and or least get you another 10,000 to 15,000. If its worded right and you make the audience feel in charge you could climb 75,000 over 6 months videos. You start to tell them on every video the importance of them sitting at home on theyre couch. Thats my 2 cents. Good luck.

creasote ... cree a sot ... no middle T ... when I used to shovel the old neighbours driveway in winter ... the payback was a mug of hot chocolate and half a dozen fresh baked cookies ... he figured it was a great way to pay me ... loved it every time and to this day I still love home made mollases cookies because his wife made the best ones .. and the hot chocolate was a nice warm up for the paid driveways ... and no I never asked the neighbour for payment .. they just did it ... later years after his wife died he started borrowing the snow blower and would refill the gas can when it needed it if he used it ... (we kids used to hurry home to use the snow blower cleaning neighbours driveways and the street for street hockey) ... the snow plow guys loved our corner .. they always knew exactly where the curbs were ... ;) in summer not only did I play in the local little league but later years I my brothers and father were a complete umping team ... we always did the playoffs ... and new the rules better than most people ... all the umpires got for payment was a free dinner at the awards banquet ... if or when I volunteer to help people now I say if you want to pay something ... you provide the lunch and coffee for the day ... dont care what the lunch is ... this way they feel happy for the small price and I feel happy for not having to worry abut when I will eat ... because I know I have coffee to keep going and a meal at some point ... I do the same thing when I get moving help ... the helpers get a meal and drinks after the job is done ... ok its usually pizza and beer ... or BBQ and Beer .. but that is on my tab ... that costs less than getting a moving company to do it and and then have to wait 2 days to see what got broken .. in shipping as they weighed the truck ... couldnt get a vehicle to the other side to place dirt yet you use the skid steer to place dirt on the other sides side ... go 5 feet further and you can pile dirt there with the skid steer ...

Brock, you're exactly like my dad who unfortunately passed away recently. He was the first to volunteer to help and the last to go home. Literally everyone in town lived him because he was there for them when they needed someone. I've never seen so many people show up to a funeral and so many people reach out to help when he passed. He made a lasting impact on so many people in our community and his legacy will be remembered for a very long time.

I'm a disc golfer, was just casually scrolling through my feed on my phone, somehow accidentally fast-forwarded your video as it was previewing, and caught a glimpse of a basket. I watch a lot of disc golf content, so I thought maybe KZfaq was having a brainfart and accidentally showing someone's disc golf stuff on a sawmilling video, lol. Glad I decided to actually click and check out the video! Good stuff, I subbed!😁👍

Isn't it weird how helping other people brings you lots of joy but it doesn't bring joy to people to help other people? I don't help people with the expectation of getting something in return but when the people you have helped consistently pass up opportunities to help you it enrages me deeply.

I wish you were close to NE Ohio. While walking in the woods this past spring, I saw quite a few downed trees due to high winds. I tried giving them away to an Amish man. Not desirable wood for their needs. I hate see things go to waste. Trees are around twelve inches or bigger at base, possibly thirty to forty feet long. I have a bad knee and don't currently have a running chain saw.

If one were so inclined, you could use that steel tubing you pulled out of the fence wreckage to make some nice handrails for the bridge. Use chain for a rustic look or steel cable between the posts. To attach the posts, drill a hole through the bridge deck that comes out next to the I-beams, then weld the tubing to the I-beam flanges. Brush up on your stick welding for that, I think the flanges are going to be a little much for the MIG welder.

lube creosote with PB Blaster....which is just Coal Tar Oil, from the coking process of coal for steel blast furnaces. Use to get that from the coke oven plant by the bucket full....then someone put it in an aerosol can and called it "PB Blaster." And we made creosote fence posts on the farm from locust posts soaked in barrels of tar and kerosene. I remember building fence lines as a kid. Those posts are still in the ground holding up barb wire over 50 years later! The good ole days when stuff was made right!
