THESE COMMERCIALS MADE ME WHO I AM (but are they good??) | From Listerine mouthwash to Cheetos to Shining Stars and Bella Sara.... and even Wazoo bars?? As I've said many a time I am VERY easily swayed and these commercials had me in the palm of their hand. I also was inspired through this video for more future uploads so keep your eyes pealed for the possibility of "The Lore of the Goldfish Commercials" and "Bella Sara was my whole childhood but what is it??" AHHHHH SO NOSTALGIC! I LOVE IT!!

The one for my family is the Empire Today commercials. My dad will sing that one still and add his own spin to it, too. My brothers do that a little bit, too, but we've mostly all grown out of it. I wonder if that makes my dad sad now...

stop me and my siblings have shining stars, my grandma bought them for us in the hospital gift shop while she had a rare cancer it was a 50% chance of survival for her. we all had a very touching and heartfelt moment where we all wished on our pets that she would get better. ten years later she has beat cancer twice, we love her more than worlds can describe.

I will attest that the curly Cheetos were better. The batter was thicker than their normal puffs and it gave them this super satisfying *snap* whenever you bit into them. RIP curly Cheetos: Forever in our hearts

I remember these straws called “sipaah” straws. They were like reverse filters. They had flavoured balls filling the straw so when you sip milk it would flavour it before it reached your mouth

Yes, PLEASE MAKE A PART 2! I loved how Athena’s quirkiness and commentary enhanced the chaotic energy and fun nature of these commercials! Also, this was super nostalgic for me (I had forgotten that I had the blue teeth staining mouthwash) and now I’m mad there was a brand of Cheetos I’ll probably never get to try! Anyways, neat idea!

18:43 I googles "bella sara lore" to see if there's info about this...There's a whole wiki So the child in the ads is the Sara in question ("Bella" and "Bello" being thr first two of the special horses linage, or something), and apparently Sara's parents are GODS?!? After Sara was born, they moved to the area the bulk of the lore takes place in (called the "North of North"), and as Sara got older, her parents explained her goddess-destiny status to her, which she didn't understand until oops horses! And she gave them the magic powers?????? Like she saw a bunch of horses and was like "Oh I'm a god so ill give them magic uwu"

I remember this one commercial here on KZfaq that I had a strange hyperfixation on when I was younger. It was a yogurt commercial that mentioned lactobacillus Casei Shirota. To this day, I sometimes look at the ingredients on my yogurt cups and find _L. Casei._

It's always strange (but entertaining) to see people react to childhood commercials. I never had that experience because I mostly watched anime cds or cartoon channels. Advertisement targeted at children is illegal in Canada

Question for you, how did you feel about Moon Shoes? The ads were very entertaining, but when I received a pair of Moon Shoes for Christmas and tried using them the following summer, I was thinking, "Why did I want these in the first place?" The reason that question popped into my head is that my Moon Shoes broke after just 1 use.

the thing that bothers me the most about the new design is the rainbow in the beak it just doesnt look right to m but maybe thats because i grew up with the old design, he looked more like a "fun dad" kind of character and i loved that. the new design gives more of a chaotic youth vibe to me and i dont really know how to feel about it

When I was younger, my grandparents would take me to their house on Fridays and let me watch TV. When a toy commercial came on, I would pull out a little paper book I had made and write down the toys. Then I would take the papers home and show them to my parents. The good old times
