About Phasmophobia:
Phasmophobia is a 4 player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use all the ghost hunting equipment at your disposal in order to gather as much evidence as you can.

i did a solo professional asylum run, used the ouiji board to many times and asked about 10 or more questions to piss the ghost off, wandered in there for 30 minutes to pin point the exact spawn point so i could drop a crucifix. ghost started hunting every few seconds each time for about 30 seconds. i still got all the evidence and did my side objectives and you're stressing about this shit?

in the asylum and school you can use those long hallways to your advantage to keep running away from the ghost, also its easier to not get yourself cornered .. making them much easier than the other maps in that regard

Just a tip, when the ghost starts hunting DON’T MAKE A SOUND. It’s how you die. Whether you press your push to talk button or not, the ghost can always hear you. Much more entertaining watching you all scream and poop yourselves though. XD Also another thing. On amateur if you die, you get 50% of the items worth back. You have 5 minutes to set up. On intermediate if you die, you get 25% of the items worth back. You have 2 minutes to set up. On professional if you die, you get nothing back. There is no insurance and you have no time to set up. It does not matter if you take a picture of the dead body or not, you get the money back anyway. Taking a picture is just extra money for everyone.

The Voodoo Doll is similar to Bone Evidence, taking a picture of it with the photo camera will grant a photo reward at the end of the mission. It does not reward any extra for picking it up. The Voodoo Doll seems to have a use in finding the Ghost Room. Once you pick it up and throw it, it might fly/slide towards the location of the Ghost Room. Taking a picture of the Voodoo Doll after this interaction will count towards Photo Evidence in the Interaction category. While it is unconfirmed, It appears that taking the Voodoo Doll outside of the house will immediately anger the ghost and cause it to Hunt with increased frequency.

I feel like the Voodoo doll was kinda an answer to people cheesing Demons with the Quiji Board. (I did it alot with a friend.) One in the van would watch my sanity as I used the Quiji Board and if it didn't drop then we ruled out instantly that it was a demon.

The VooDoo Doll does NOT locate the ghost room. It bounces around weird due to the strange, unique colliders it has as it bounces off other objects.

It also doesn't help Jinn's are super hard to deal with, especially in a small house like this as distance is more tied to the location from it in its area rather than the actual distance from it. So say your on one side of the house and it spawns on the other even if its a small house it still registering players as far away and starts at max speed. Then the fact that even without the ability it is very fast. The only way to counter a Jinn sadly is to turn off the locations breaker, but thats assuming its a Jinn and even then its kinda pointless to do that as you'll just lower your sanity faster then in turn making it hunt constantly and even without the bonus speed its still faster than every other ghost in this game the only other ghost being close to its speed being Revenant, but Revenants don't require players to turn off the power for the whole Match and kill their sanity, as well as having a better counter that actually lowers its speed below the average speed of ghosts/players rather than just canceling its ability yet leaving it super fast. The essay aside lmao. Jinns are just a pain in the ass ghost to deal with and the only other ghosts that I think are highly difficult to deal with depending on the location is a Yurei or Demon... Though you can honestly cheese a Demon out with the Quiji board if you find it. XD Edit: Half asleep forgot that was the part with the Demon. Lol, came back to edit that im a big ol derp. But yeah Demon is aggressive for the sake of being aggressive. Yurei is a speed run game before it drains your sanity, Jinn is pray you get evidence before you run out of time or that your good at hiding. Fast ghost stink though since they are just GG if you don't hide in time.

Cool you found a voodoo doll. The only reward you get for that is a picture of the doll. Every time you drop it the doll sometimes has a chance to fly to the ghost’s room. Also on a wiki that has an unconfirmed theory that taking a voodoo doll out of the house will anger the ghost and cause more frequent hunts.

"How do People Play this" Preamble... want easy smudgestick? Hold lit lighter in inventory, switch to smudgesticks. Press F :) Step 1... Turn on lights as you go, turn off as you leave room. Standing around in darkness nukes your sanity. Step 2... Angering ghost less helps keep it from also insta hunting you. So how to play? Keep sanity up to find the room. Low sanity means more hunting. Ergo, this game is the antithesis of yours and Icy's play style. Drae though has what it takes to be mlg.

its super easy, me and my friends are just doing professionals, the only thing that makes it harder for us is all four of us are really afraid of spooky stuff so i end up taking the lead all the time lol, but only thing that can really screw you up in this game is a revanent because they are fucking sonic if they see you, otherwise you can just kite everything especially in the huge maps which is supposed to be the "hard" maps lol

It doesn’t help that IGO screams loudly when the ghost is hunting, which the ghost can hear. At all times. Just know that if you don’t hear a heartbeat, the ghost doesn’t know you’re there.

Being a ghost hunter type game, it relies on more subtle ghost events, possession is too ham fisted I think. They do however have player mimicry, the ghost can take the appearance of a player and walk around or even towards you.

Also, a salt pile placed in choke points helps leave their footprints so you can track their movements. Should also try to refrain from using their name as much as possible. The walkie talkie is a good way to monitor the hunt cycle (due to the white noise the spirit causes with it). When being hunted and you cannot make it out of the house, you can hide in closets; while hiding remain absolutely quiet. Some of those might already be known, just trying to help. Lol.

Actually at the moment there is currently what I assume is a bug. Me and a friend tried to get a picture of the ghost through a window and standing on the porch outside. Killed my friend right I'm front of me and we weren't in the building just outside. We got the pic though. PSA: DON'T stand near doors or windows if hunt starts while you are out of the building. Have had people killed a few times this way

I’d like to see Icy go full stereotype with a a full on accent and hunting while drunk. Bonus: IGP and Drae can be a greedy news reporter and a U.S. Army soldier or something if they wanna join in on the roleplaying. Icy would be the ”expert” hunter in that scenario.

I played this game around 30 hours and i never experienced such an active ghost like this!!! Btw the door is glitched the first round because the ghost locks all the doors during the hunting phase. Its not supposed to stay open

Demons are far more active than all the other ghost types. I knew it was a demon the moment it started chain hunting right after the 2 minute grace ran out. Those things SUCK to gather evidence for.

Man, jumping from 2013 Indie in Amnesia Dark Descent to 2015 Indie in Soma, it's absolutely incredible how his energy has remained unchanged. Same enthusiasm, same attitude, hell, even the same manner of speaking. Somewhat. Same, but different. Absolutely amazing that he's kept the same energy all this time.

Just a tip using the thermometer is a faster and more effective way of locating the ghost and if it drops under 3 Celsius then it’s going to be freezing temperatures :)

One could also argue, that visible breath is a better indicator, if we take inventory space into consideration, for efficient loadout, but yeah, the thermometer is faster, but not by much

@@alexgilchrist5104 well once it reaches under 3 Celsius it’s just indicating that it’s going to be freezing temperatures, as the ghost gets more active and times goes by the temperature will slowly decline.

@@miloolsen4395 It can be minutes before the ghost is active enough for freezing breath, and that is if it is even a freezing temp ghost. The therm can track the ghost room from the moment you walk in the house. "Efficiency," wise, going in the house without a therm relying on freezing temps, and active ghost to see breath, only to go back to the truck because you found nothing with your other equipment is incredibly inefficient.
