Norway is during the work so you guys deserve the video. I was an Oslo 1989 and I was amazed on your amazing subway system. In proportion to the size of your city, it has to be the most extensive in the world.

Norway faces unique challenges when building roadways, but darned if they don’t build those things faster than anywhere else I’ve visited. I spent all of 2012 in Stavanger on a project and watched an entire freeway from the airport built during that timespan. Remarkable.

I love the idea of Intelligent Transportation Systems but unfortunately they're basically a scam that never works properly. Here in Colorado we have US 36 as a freeway partially and it's an ITS, with overhead gantry digital lane signs for arrows, speed, etc., guess how often it's on and accurate? Maybe 1% of the time. It's built and never maintained.

I believe you would be interested to see E18 From Rugtvedt to Langangen as well. It is a highway built under the city of Porsgrunn leading up to a massive clone Grenland bridge parallel to the other one. Also Arna - Stanghelle is also impressive planning!

It would be good to have a video explaining how the new highway design works. The last clip had 2 or 3 roundabouts integrated into the highway.

The quality of infrastructure is of low qaulity considering its wealth outside of the oslo area roads and trains are pretty bad.

Nicely researched. 🙄 They have most extensive trams system in the world in Oslo, but a lot Norway is impenetrable to trains due to its geology. Plus it has a relatively small population making such massive infrastructure economically unviable. Whilst Norway has the highest EV take up of any country in Europe and the highest percentage in the world.

Norway isnt the US with tens of thousands of highway miles already constructed, you need both and they already have an extensive train infrastructure almost the inverse of the transit situation in america, not everywhere has the exact same issues
