Changbin is really interested in psychology. From my observation, it's especially been since Han was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Changbin's knowledge in relationships and mental health skyrocketed. (As if he did a lot of research on Han's condition) Changbin is a smart guy. Before he decided to be a rapper, he was going to be a lawyer.

The producers aka 3racha makes the songs so they are credited for it and they earn more money than the other members bc of the song credits. that's why changbin says we're 3racha the amount of money we have is similar. han,changbin and bangchan are always together bc they work on the songs. just like dance unit and vocal unit they spent more time together

i was rewatching an interview they had with JYP himself and he talked about how they wanted to create this group differently from all the other groups because of how pervasive social media is and the new dynamic of fans having more access to the stars - they wanted the relationships between the members to be authentic and REAL, which there are limits when the group is formed arbitrarily by company people. They hoped that if they have Chan form the group by his own hands, the relationships, chemistry, and teamwork would be authentic and real that would show through from the getgo. Before Two Kids Room and like, when I first entered the fandom I had this idea in my head "Hm, Chan and Lee Know, the leader and dance leader, yeah sounds like the dads of the group" but then! then we got Lee Know x Chan room where Chan goes "you're always gonna be my youngest brother" at Lee Know (which i love btw, literally died when i realised that the reason was the order the skz met Chan? catch me crying over that ) and Chan x Changbin room where literally everyone is like "chan and changbin married era whoo". And /then/ it clicked and I was like "Oh yeah, sounds about right" also! since you mentioned about watching only two kids room as skz content (outside music) lemme just say, 'SKZ Code' is a banger and such a mood lifter. Whether you decide to watch on YT or on your own, I recommend it fiercely (Of course, no pressure, everything on your own time). Hannie is an example who went on hiatus on recommendation from one of these professionals because of his anxiety, Mina and Jeonghyeon from Twice also went on hiatus because of their struggles with anxiety and depression and if I'm not mistaken Sunmi was diagnosed with borderline when she was still in the company so this is a side of jyp that i really love

I love these 2..Chamgbin is definitely the creative fuel and Chan is the mastermind of organizing everything.they are perfect ❤️ together!!

This episode hit all the feels!! I totally agree with you about metal health checks. Why do we (in theory) take care of our physical health and ignore our mental health? It makes no sense! And to expound on your mention of "bias" with friends and family, etc...basically (to anyone reading this), he just means they are more likely to tell you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear. They have this desire to keep you from feeling pain, etc. You're right with your theory that Bang Chan acts younger when relaxed with the members. He does and he admits to it. The others mention it to, so it seems to be something that's pretty normal. He was the youngest as a trainee for a long time, so I think he likes being bubbly and silly. It's familiar and comforting to him, maybe?

Always love your insights and reactions to the KZS. BangChan spent many years (7 in the jpy training program) before being asked to start Stray Kids. He was often the youngest and in Korean society there are expectations of behaviors which were at first very difficult for him to learn. Then having to watch many of his friends either debut with others or seeing them fall out of the program really hurt him and he was left alone for many years. Sooooo, when Han and Changbin came into his life and then the other members (other then in their early days when he felt that he had to be rough on them for debut purposes and their actual existence as a group) how could he be anything but loving and grateful. He expresses this every chance he gets to his group members and it shows in how he showers them with affection. Chani really does have a wonderful bond with Changbin, it shines.

One of the reasons Chris "seems" like a younger member is probably that he entered JYP really young (I think 14 if I am not mistaken) and coming alone from australia so for a long time he was always the youngest/ one of the youngest and was treated that "Maknae"-way. & then all his friends either left the company or debuted (GOT7, Twice & Day6) only after years of being a trainee he started to be one of the older ones and later JYP giving him a lot of responsibility in creating the group and leading it. About Changbin: I have been a K-pop for 5 years now and I would argue that in every group there is like a 2nd leader, usually on of the oldest members and that for sure is Changbin in SKZ

okay but ur so spot on about chan not acting like the oldest with his members! stays call him the fake maknae for a reason bc he acts like the baby of the group 🤣 the members have talked about it too & how he used to seem like such a scary older brother before debut but since then he has become like this. i think there’s a lot of reasons for this, like the fact that they are successful now so they can relax a bit more & not have to constantly worry if they’re ever going to make it or be separated. also i know chan has talked about it a bit & he seems regretful of being too hard on them sometimes. he has said he wants the members to feel comfortable around him & likes when they all joke around together. plus chan was a trainee for a long time & for many years he was the youngest around a bunch of older guys so he still has that playful energy from always being the baby back in his trainee days. it’s actually so sweet to see chan with his friends from back then & how they treat him like the cutest little thing 🥲
