I like how the requirement for something to be a Jinn is just any old ghost sighting but it happens in the Middle East, like Jinns as a category of paranormal beings just decided “yeah, we can just stick to the Arabic speaking world, other spirits can take over the rest of the world.” Edit: I understand that Jinns are a specific thing in Islamic and general middle eastern folklore, I’m mainly saying that I think it’s funny that this channel distinguishes between Jinns and any other paranormal thing so arbitrarily.

There's two different categories for djinn... An evil djinn who follow devil and a good djinn... A good djinn will never interact with human... To interact with physical world they need an energy... Their energy is based on how much humans beliefs in their area or if some stupid humans sacrifice something to ask them (they will get a huge energy so sometimes they will help human who sacrificed)... the djinn who showing themselves or doing something in physical world is called ghost, their form is based on popular beliefs in that area... But they will never showing themselves without any benefit because it will decrease their energy... There's too many fake sighting of djinn but my family several years ago has been interacted with djinn so I know it is real...

Being an urbexer for past 9 years I've never once encountered the supernatural. Wild animals and homeless yeah, but never ghosts. I think the weirdest thing I encountered recently was in a hoarder house, found a pickle jar in the pantry filled with what I could only describe as a slurry of mice, black foam on the top and bones on the bottom. Smelled like gasoline for some reason.

I mean, growing up in a religious household I can say with certainty that being religious and being superstitious correlates. It’s not a causation of being superstitious tho. Especially religions of the Abrahamic faith (Christianity, Judaism, Islam), those religions tend to be the most superstitious when it comes to spirits and demonic possessions. Looking at it through that idea, it’s easy to see why priests, rabbis, and shieks are really quick to call things that could be chalked up as a medical issue a possession or spiritual influence.

@@thefeatherbird_ Oh, it absolutely is a death sentence. Hypothermia sets in very quickly, if you don't have a boat to get back on to, and no extra clothes, you'll freeze to death in 10-15 minutes. Hell, even going into the ocean in _summer_ unprepared at the bottom of New Zealand's south island, is a death sentence, let alone deep in the artic.

Jinn taking the form of human beings is actually common in stories regarding them, but they are said to always have something “off” about them that can help you set them apart from real humans. Unfortunately, I imagine that this can easily be used to discriminate against those with disabilities and neurodevelopmental differences (and anyone else who appears “off”)
