Black Love is a Revolutionary Act (Dr. Frances cress Welsing). Everything possible and imaginable has been devised to divide and conquer and destroy the black race. "They" haven't been completely successful since we're still here, but for how much longer, though? MARRIAGE IS A MALE INVENTION. Before that invention, multiple partnership went both ways. However the problem with that was that: mama's baby was papa's, MAYBE. My point is: Marriage was invented by Men for Men so they could be sure they're passing down their legacy to their OWN and not somebody else's child/children. So when did marriage become more profitable to women than to men, especially nowadays when many women, especially black women in America, are financially independent and 'heads' of households.

A relationship is a small government. My husband died after 49 years of marriage. This man was not afraid to love and be loved. His children adored him because of love, the love he gave. In our government everyone had a place to help our government to succeed. He knew his place and I knew mine. The man was so good to me he made it easy for me to follow his lead, because he lead with love. I respected his headship because he respected mine. We were financially stable. As we started getting older we found out there were lots of ways to show love, if you get my drift. Love outside the bedroom was very important. My point is everyone knew their job and stuck to it. Men don’t wait till you can’t do nothing for yourself now you ready to be married because you don’t want to die alone. Sorry for being wordy, but marriage can be the best thing you ever do for yourself. And young man amen to your parents for setting a good example. 🥰🥰🥰♥️🥴

Inspiring story but sadly it rarely fits in with reality. Marriage is like a gamble. You have to be lucky your partner won’t cheat on you or destroy your life in every way possible. Some of us are just realistic enough to admit we weren’t those lucky ones.

Exactly!! The greatest thing the establishment fears is a strong blk relationship and community. So they play on men's insecurities and fears of not being able have a healthy relationship so they're encouraged to find a loophole by denigrating their women; the ones who could actually help them have a full life. This will eventually cause the destruction of the community.

Today everyone wants to know “what’s in it for me!?” It’s about being selfless. These men don’t see the value in building with someone. In most marriages your wife will likely bare your children, support your goals and help take care of you emotionally and physically. You eventually want children, you want a woman around you, you just don’t want the responsibility of giving any part of you. You learn so much by giving and being selfless. Women already know this, it’s why I’m so many marriages women are the ones exhausted anyway. The reason women are told to let a man pay for the date, and cater to you in the beginning is because if not we are used and abused because we already WANT to give so much. Men will tell their daughters this (let him chase you), but treat their baby mother like trash. Men get mad at women for wanting the “bad boys” but also continue to go after the women who don’t want them either! Then blame all women.

@@dre8463 I’d like to know why these women are unhappy in their marriages. I’m not exactly sure but I believe women feel they’re carrying most of the weight, likely after having kids. I believe marriages who (strictly!) follow traditional roles will suffer the most.
@dre8463
@dre8463 3 жыл бұрын
@@TaKyraMoonlight I'd like to know the reasons for it too but I'm willing to bet it's mostly to due with financial or infidelity. It is what it is, men in the past had to deal with those burdens of bringing the breadwinner and women stayed home and raised the kids, the nuclear family was the natural order. A man's manhood was defined by his job/being the provider and the woman was her family. However, in the past 50-60 years, the economy changed and the jobs that men used to do got imported to China and elsewhere, a lot of their skills got wiped out completely and the less manual jobs that was made possible by technological advancements, women took those jobs. Women are out earning the men now, which is good. But women don't need men now, so now you have a situation where this has happened, and the respective definitions of manhood/womanhood has changed.

I found myself on the "HV" side of youtube and it's so disheartening to hear some of the ideals and "values" that are being taught. We do need other. We were meant to be partners growing with each other while creating the next generation to succeed us. A symbiotic relationship. That was intentional & we have strayed so far from it. I don't entertain that side of youtube. I don't listen or watch or support those who perpetuate negative views of the opposite sex because why? I strive to be the best person I can be for my partner and I don't internalize disgruntled people's distorted perceptions of how they want to see marriage/relationships. I do what makes me happy and what will contribute to my growth and faith as we all should.

Wise decision I Know. I have also noticed several female KZfaqrs cultivating friction or hate between black males and females. Once that negativity gets into your psyche, it pops up in your heart. It generates a sort of hatred. I believe these platforms are being paid to do this. A white survivalist guy on KZfaq said he was approached by someone to post a particular type of material on his website for $4,000. He said he declined. He said you have to be careful of the motives. I believe that some of our "stop caping for black men" KZfaqrs are kind of destroying relations between those of our community. Yes, BW should protect themselves, but the continual using of this theme is dangerous and inflammatory. Shumake addresses our communities shortcomings in a positive way. As to how BM and BW can do better. He doesn't just hammer away at one side.

If they get reformed then it would be a more attractive option for men. Jesus said divorce is only an option if it is due to infidelity, I think that makes a whole of since. No fault divorce is destroying our families, and women are divorcing men 80% of the time. We can't ignore the stats folks.

Bro you spoke solely from the woman’s perspective and only turned the “risk” of marriage for men into a joke (“men worry because they’re insecure”, “men yall pick the wrong women” or “men don’t even have much and you worried about her taking half”?). Men actually have valid concerns and as long as you minimize men’s concern to just some “it’s your fault” narrative, your followers (women) wont consider the validity in men’s issues.

What he's saying is that if your "valid concern" is that you may end up with a trash woman who takes all your money, pick a better quality woman - perhaps one that has her own money and doesnt need yours. (If you're not comfortable with a woman who has her own, perhaps you are insecure.) Along those lines, if you dont have any money, what are you protecting by avoiding marriage/ potential divorce? I didn't hear him make jokes nor dismiss these concerns. Rather, he offered more perspective ... Also, he is not speaking for women or from our perspective. Marriage isn't for everybody (scripture says that also)...Not every man has what it takes to become a husband, and not every woman has what it takes to become a wife. With that said, the family unit is supposed to be the strongest unit to bring forth the next generation. Yes, money..property..etc are involved. That's why you don't just marry everyone like you would screw everyone. The allure of marriage is leaving because we are in a "hook up" culture where people want satisfaction right now, and are extremely self serving. Also, there are a lot of man haters and woman haters out there. I think it's absolutely sick for someone to talk down on the love they see in someone else's relationship. If you enter a relationship with one foot already headed towards the exit, then you are bringing negativity with you. Marriage is work. You have to put in the effort and make choices. Daily. If you don't want it fine...but stop talking down on it. People won't stop having babies, and marriage has to be better than the fatherless households we have now.

This is exactly why I’m single and staying single until I meet the right guy who’s ready for marriage. I do not believe in sleeping around no matter what everyone else is doing. I understand my value and how rare I am. I can’t wait to meet a man Who wants to take his time and really get to know each other. Congratulations on your marriage wishing you the very very best. Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽... God blessed y'all union!!! 🙏🏽Amen!!! I'm glad I came across your page... all FACTS. It's basically damaged individuals that aren't mature enough to let go pain and fear. They constantly recreate more confusion and with that comes chaos. You have to be very strong mentally and spiritually to change your actions to build a new narrative. I hate when someone says, " That's just the way, I am." No it's how you choose to be. We all can change. When you know better, you should do better!!! #OnGod

That's a great topic! If marriage not for you, that's your right/decision, why fight to take away others right if they support the institution of marriage. You see it all the time. Men wasting their life away whiles they're young and strong but they end up as grumpy old lonely men.

@@asj7732 you're absolutely right! Those are not the men that we see/hear complaining. The ones that are complaining are the "HV" men, who complain about a woman taking half. Yet, they'll choose a woman that has none of the qualities that they claim to require. They'll choose someone based on superficial qualities, that doesn't have the same intellect, to feel like the king of his domain/relationship. To actually listen to and read some of their comments, many of them seem to have no respect for women that think highly of themselves. Some seem to hate women, and only want to procreate and toss them aside after they've had an "heir". It makes me wonder how they feel about their own mom and the women in their family.

I remember what it was like having a present loving father in my childhood, and it's the best feeling ever. I was the happiest when my family was happy and together. And I wanna be able to create that I my life, in the future. Cause what's the point of living, if you don't have a family to go back home to? If you don't have a support system? If you don't have lovo in your life? I thought family was not important a few years ago, but that's just not true. I wanted to think that way to not realize what I was lacking. I hope all of us could be healthy and intelligent enough to create long lasting marriages and strong lovely families😌

Marriage can be beneficial for family. Divorce can be detrimental. When you vet, you should always ask(indirectly) do they believe in divorce.

Before we got married, my husband and I both agreed that divorce was off the table. Unfortunately, he took that to mean that he could do anything he wanted and I would put up with it. He was a good boyfriend/fiance for almost 6 years before the wedding but did a complete 180 once he thought I was "locked down". Cheated with 15 different women. Went months without saying a word to me on multiple occasions after disagreements. The list goes on. I am a patient, God-fearing woman but I am nobody's doormat. Not even my husband.
