Tyler & Ben, brothers, have gone through things that could strain even the closest of families. Ben, the founder of Change.org, reflects on how much he relied on his younger brother through the company’s intense ups and downs, and Tyler, our very own Director of Partnerships, recounts the formative experiences growing up having an older brother to look out for him. (Part 1 of 2)

It's crazy how they only share the smile, if not I wouldn't believe they were brothers!

It's like that with my younger brothers and I. Our faces don't look alike, and while I have blue eyes, one of my brothers has green eyes and the other one has brown eyes. So when we tell people we are brothers, they're like "Whhhhaaaaat?" :D

Genetics work in mysterious ways. Sometimes genes can jump from a few generations back, making them different looking from their parents/siblings

The point at about 6:45 where he's telling his brother that it's okay to just "be". That the role that he plays in people's lives and the person he is, is ENOUGH, even if he aspires to do and be more. That got me. Such wise words and a good reminder to so many of us I think.

It's interesting how you can tell which of them is the older brother through their interaction with each other although I would never be able to say just by looking at them.

Something about the guy on the left, including the way he speaks reminds me of Edward Norton. I love their bond and openness. :-)

Me and my younger brother are the same age difference. And I'm 20. This is like peaking into the future for me, and feeling overwhelmed. This video means so much to me, thanks SkinDeep you've done it again.

The way these two articulate a conversation with each other is beautiful and inspiring. They seem to really really think before speaking.

The Skin Deep I guess the part when they talk about when they got to know each other ( around 3:49)! My brother and I have never been super close, but we took a random trip to Vegas together a couple of years ago and I got to see him in a total different light. His conversations had so much depth and his heart for people was so evident in the way he interacted with people on the trip. I believe it really brought us closer! Life happens and I moved away so we didnt grow together! Seeing him in that way really encouraged me. 2nd part was around 6:03! I think its Ben that was talking. He said something like everyone sees him one way and sees what hes doing but he never feels satisified or that its enough! I don't know if its this age range (Im 28) but I literally want to be the best version of me at this point in life and I cant seem to find what that looks like. Tyler said his very being is enough and thats something I needed to hear. Finding small victories in doing life makes a huge difference and perspective is everything.

I was born many years after my 2 brothers. My younger brother saw me as taking over his place so I always felt he did not like me that much. My older brother used to spoil me when I was a kid and he would take me with him when he would visit friends. As he became very wealthy and also maybe the fact that I did not live up to his expectations, I got the cold shoulder from him later in life and it used to be very painful. Now the younger brother has died and the older one too caught up in his riches to care
