Bindi on the forehead in today’s world doesn’t imply that the woman is married. A lot of married women apply bindi but a lot of them don’t, same with unmarried women. Anyone can apply bindi of any colour these days. However, if a woman wears vermilion along her hair part that means she is married. A lot of married women in the metropolitan cities choose not to wear vermilion but the ones who do are married.

In India people are extremely kind and nice. The cycle scene is totally normal. Also it’s not just rich people who play tennis and take a taxi. It’s also the middle class people.

3:25 No,Acutally anyone can wear bindi. Married,Unmarried,Widow. Any colour. Its just that during marriage Red bindi is used mostly,so most women prefer red. If you dont want, you can prefer not to wear it as well.

can't wait for part 2!! a quick note tho-- 25:00 irrfan khan's character refused to drive bc the servant took shotgun. bc he is the owner of the taxi business, and driving them as a kind gesture rather than simply cancelling, he felt disrespected by being made to feel like a servant when he isn't one. yes, it's kinda classist but we take social hierarchies v seriously, hence the way the elderly ppl, specifically bhaskor, feel comfortable to just bully people and why ppl comply with the absurd requests.

8:48 that aunt was supporting modern medicine. Allopathy. The sweet balls she referred to was homoeopathic medicine (old age medicine, which works very slow, or most of the times never work) which Piku's father was taking.

Irfaan Khan was one of the gems of the film industry❤.... Sadly he passed away in 2020.He was battling vth cancer. 😢

So in this movie they are Bengali living in Delhi...in Bengali culture wearing bindi is not a sign of marriage it is just normal...and bengali people are consider as lil more progressive so talking about sex or something like that is a bit normal compared to other regional people like especially north Indians...and I must say bengali flims are Art u must try some Bengali films...they only Oscar winner from India is Satyajit Ray who is also a Bengali

Bindi (the round thing between eyebrows) can be worn by anyone(male/female married/unmarried, young girls etc) it doesn't signify marriage. However some married women prefer wearing red/maroon bindi as they are bridal colours. Its like wearing earring. If you feel like it, you can wear it.

There is no correlation between the colour of Bindi and sign of marriage. But some married women exclusively wear red Bindi because they prefer it.

We have all the rules, even a seasoned driver would be surprised, we simple choose to ignore collectively. And traffic police don't enforce as long as nothing major happens since they are already understaffed and overburdened.

You mean we do not care. Get a traffic rule book and read it properly. It should be made compulsory before issuing driving license. The rule is same. If it's a continuous line, it means you should maintain the lane and not try to overtake by crossing it.

Guys, please watch at least few Hindi movies based on America like Tara Rump Pump ( based on Nascar driver struggle in USA) Dostana ( story of two Indian origin people who pretend to be gay and lives with woman in Miami ), New York ( discrimination against muslim and in general yellow- brown skinned people aftermath 9/11 ) etc. I think it may be safer to create just review with pictures, instead of full watch along for movies like Tara Rump Pump and others at least on KZfaq and hence not much attractable to you people but still worth giving it shot.
