Peter you must have patience of a saint to have fixed that handle !! It would have been thrown out the door if i had tried to fix it and had the problems you had .Great job ! That heater worked really well to heat that shed up so fast . look forward to the next video Have a great week.

Thanks, it was the closest I've been to a total disaster, but we got away with it.

Great repair Peter .It’s a pleasure to watch your patience at work but please when unboxing put that Stanley knife down , blood on You Tube is a no no. Love your videos ,love your shed.

Thanks for that David, quite right. The problem is all those sellers who insist on taping stuff up into solid blocks, and using tear proof plastic bags. I'll get some slash proof gloves!🙂

Because my workshop is only 6’ x 6’ with no windows I have to work with the double doors open with my table saw and router table on top of a Bosch workmate type table just outside the doors holding it open. As it’s sheltered with an overhang flat upstairs making a ginnel snow, rain and ice usually aren't a problem unless we have very strong winds. However, heating is impossible but luckily being a birdwatching mobility scooter user I have plenty of layers to keep me warm. I think you did a brilliant job of fixing the handle, far better than I could have hoped for. Another Saturday off to great start after seeing your video.

Thanks for that Mark, what I didn't show was that just before I was due to take it back I realised there was a pattern on the front of the handle, and I had fixed it backwards. However it wasn't too hard to sort. Hearing of your work area I won't complain about the shed being too small again.🙂

Peter Lloyd It is very small and I have everything as easy as possible to move and set up and even with my difficulties it only takes 5 minutes to set up. My router table is one of those tin Silverline ones but it’s very light and I can easily screw it down to the Bosch table for stability. I do need a better fence though. I only have to move my table saw a couple of feet, but I’m going to put some wheels on it and I need to put the extensions on it if I'm cutting anything larger than normal which is very rare. However, with the cooperation of my neighbours I have a work area and many people in my situation don’t. Adding that to my darkroom, which is the box room in the flat, I can't complain at all. If I remember this week I’ll take a photograph of my little workshop for you.

How much did you charge them for that job matey ? … let me guess … a freebie, that's what makes the shed community tick over tbh … I get great satisfaction by helping people and knowing they have someone who can and wants to help, good on you Mr shed man ! ….

Yes as always it's free, but I do find that what goes around comes around, when I wanted a logo design for the shed one of my colleagues sorted it for me, - he does it for a living. Similarly I get 2D and 3D work done in exchange for painting locos. It's just barter really and you still get to learn from doing new things.

Unfortunately not, this was done some time ago, before my sound synchronisation issues started. I've been playing with the camera today, but it's a point and shoot tablet versus a DSLR with a couple of hundred pages of instructions, so it may take some time. Currently struggling with the inability to get HD onto the memory card fast enough, but I'm sure we'll get there in a week or two.

Peter Lloyd I now use the GoPro hero 3+ with an external mike but I don’t edit it probably that’s why I don’t get many hits lol 😂 but there again not done any for months but have got an unboxing to do on the evolution and a project to finish so it might get better looking forward to your next vids Peter.
