You dont have to be privelegged with millions to afford doing something that means something for your parents. I make a blue collar income so I cant buy cars and houses for my old mom. But I can help her a few times a year with the heavy garden stuff... And I am pretty sure with my moms personality that getting help so she is not kicked out of her house is worth more to her then getting some broke car I could afford.

My Dad loved bikes. He rode them in the army as a despatch rider, continued when he left the army and passed the passion onto me....I started riding off-road motorcycles at 5 years old. and I still ride them at nearly 50 years old. Before his illness made him too weak, he used to love going pillion on my insanely powerful modified streetfighter with me. I have so many great memories from motorcycling through and because of him.....damn, that brought a tear to my eye.

It's lovely to see a son doing this for his father. I've raised my own children (my wife and I like to think we did alright). They're all successful and happy in their current lives. A few years ago, one of my sons took my wife and I on a trip to China. My wife is half Chinese and was raised by that side of her family, she has always wanted to see the country her family is from. It was never in the cards for us though. Between scheduling, money and the obligations of life raising children, we simply couldn't make it happen. When I saw how much time, care and money my son had invested in planning this trip It was one of the proudest moments of my life. I realized we raised a son who not only became capable of arranging this on his own, he thought to do so with no other expectation than wanting to make his mother happy. Couldn't be more proud of my boy.

I wish I could have done something like that for my dad. God, I would have loved to be able to allow him not to worry about money for a little bit, since he has been doing that all of his life. Unfortunately I was unable to get my company up and running on time. He died a year ago. Glad you were able to these type of things for your dad. Please never ever ever ever delete this video. This will (and every image of your father) will become of immense value at some point. Even more than it currently is. Congrats Eddie.

Thank you for this, awesome thing you did for your dad, and you can clearly see he appreciated. I wish I had the chance to do something similar for my dad. His reaction would have been similar to your dad... he was a tough guy, he went thru a lot, but I knew when something touched his heart.

I can see your father’s stern expression, however at the same time there is a respect and love that you both have. My father was the same way when my brothers and I were kids. As we all got older my father softened up a bit :)

Well done Eddie your a lovely man, i could tell from your face how proud you are of dad,, and how much you clearly love him,,,, dads are a funny breed,, some of them dont find showing emotion easy, some do,, ,, but i could tell hes really proud of you and clearly loves you with ALL his heart , i hope you and all the family keep well and your still humble enough to say your very lucky to be able to do nice stuff,, i half agree its luck,, the other half is blood and sweat and pure determination from yourself and your family to get you to your destination,, at the top of your profession. So well done for everything and keep it up. Loving the videos,, big love.💪💪💪💪❤❤❤❤❤
