I remember in the big Z and Pudz days they used to show it live on TV, I think it was on the same channel they showed the moto GP, if I remember correctly it was Eurosport, who were a pretty big channel, when all sky used to show was the Prem. My dad did powerlifting and we used to watch it all the time, I was only like 6 at the time, and thats what got me into powerlifting too

I know loz has a live stream but I’m just to busy now to watch it so I’m glad eddie does this. It’s alot better for me then the live. I love loz and Liz live though lol.

I still count Thor’s record. The guy did everything he could to prep for the record in a comp but the big bad virus happened. I think it’s legit and I think he will do even more weight soon.

Thor's lift counts without a question. But, buut Eddie's record still stands because Thor's lift was just a lift, not official. I have nothing but respect for both athletes.

Don't you guys know, when in competition its harder to make your PRs. Alot of PRs happen at the gym but its very difficult to make at an actual event because of many factors they deal with. Eddie has the record and that is that.

Yeah its just not right man, when i think of Strongman only one person comes to mind and thats him. like you said that fifth man - if only Big Tom wasnt feeling it in that stone off few years ago, it was bitter sweet for me since i live in scotland and support Tom too but i knew he would win plenty more later so wanted Brian to get that win. The Strongest Man on Earth title kinda acted as his 5th tbh, that comp felt like a true WSM event where it was about the fans, the athletes and also about who is the strongest rather than this which not alot of people are fans of anymore for various diff reasons

I am rooting for Tom or Luke to win World's those two are awesome. I like Mitchell Hooper he is a nice guy, but he just bores the sht out of me. I have tried to watch his videos, and I can't focus because I am so bored. Super nice guy, but his personality just bores me. I hope it's just me, but he just doesn't have that great personality that keeps a person engaged like Luke and Tom!

Of course they gotta make a production out of it, editing n such to fit it into an hour or two. This competition probably takes all day. The athletes need to warm up before and recover after each event.. It's probably, actually kinda boring to be there.. Can't wait to see the final cut though.💯👍

@@PabloCruise9398 Every other major Strongman competition manages to livestream the events with no problem. WSM management are just lazy and money hungry, disgraceful.

They have a longgggg term contract with Channel 5 that they can’t get out of. Channel 5 air it over 7 days between Christmas and New Year and it’s been that way for over 30 year, it must be working for them or they would of changed it long ago so it is what it is 🤷

@@petershortland478 100% yeah for sure. He is great and such a good competitor. I just remember when he first came into the sport he didn't really know when to turn it on and off. To be fair, Strongman is a bit of a different type of sport. Sure there are rivalries and competition but over all they are a very supportive group even when competing. It is one of the reasons I enjoy watching and following the athletes on Socials.

Healthy Mitch is a full blown fucking problem for everyone else. It's wild how he showed up completely unknown a few years ago and now he is thrashing literally everyone with ease.

It's not televised and you're not allowed to stream it in any way. The only way you can see this event is live in person unfortunately.
