Reading is so boring. That too in English. When I first started reading, 2 things would happen. Number 1, the book would put me to sleep or Number 2, it would give me a headache, because even after reading a sentence again and again, I would still not understand what it means.
But look at me. Today, not only do I just understand what’s written in a book, but I can also speak in English fluently, because reading has improved my sentence formation skills. And it can do the same to you.

I read the alchemist few weeks back , and I agree this book is quite easy and simple to read . I didn’t even have to look up the words online. I will soon start reading lord of the rings and I have this notion that this book series might require some substantial amount of time , dedication and commitment 🤪🤪. Anyway thank you for the video , it’s helpful for beginners like us. My sentence formation has relatively improved after reading 4-5 books already , however the struggle is when you have to strike up a conversation with someone . There is no room for error or correction when you are speaking , unlike writing !

@@roadhouse_blues8081 yes it's English is simple n easy to understand but I mainly purchased this book bcoz I have heard alot about it that it's a very motivational book n I think this book is good for beginners who want to develop a habit of reading novels so that they won't get intimidated by seeing complex English lol

@@Shruti1800 yeah I know what you mean , I am planning to read lord of the rings soon . I have this notion that this series might require substantial amount of time and commitment. However I loved watching this movie series when I was still in school , hence reading the book might take me back to the memory Lane. I am 30 already lol, and sitting idle at home has been extremely exasperating due to corona ,which has actually forced me into reading . Needless to say , learning new words , idioms , metaphors is an add on. I never read any additional books ever during my childhood however I am glad kids these days invest their free time into reading.

Recently I took up reading novels and I am loving it. It takes me to whole different world! As a teenage I used to read Champak and Chandamama, even science reporter, panchantantra and hitopadesh and I m not lying mentioning about these books, I did read them but eventually growing up to an adult I lost that zeal and excitement to read but thanks to this pandemic something good did happen to me and that is my zeal to read as much as I can. So far I have finished two books by Amish! And I love his writing a lot. As I am poor in mythology so I decided to go for Amish's book! And it was perfect! Also I regained my love for painting! I have been painting ever since the lockdown started. And a huge thanks to you for driving my curiosity towards finance and investment. I m the cooler one in my group who can actually speak(I m bad at expressing myself as in speaking publicly) about investment. Love your each and every video and can't thank you enough for inspiring me everyday! 💕 💕 💕

When you are a beginner, I suggest you to start with a physical book. Because when you start with an e-book or kindle you just feel sleepy and tired. I have observed this, as my cousin is a beginner and when she started with an e-book she said this is like a torture so I suggested her to get a physical copy of the same book and boom, she finished it. I am a reader and I read since 3rd Std. I suggest beginners to start with Indian Author because they have much relatable content and makes it more interesting. After reading couple of Indian Authors you can shift to foreign authors and explore.

Omg I grew up reading most of the books you mentioned. ❤️ I also remember me and my brother reading our favorite Indian comics like Chacha Chawdhri, Pinki, Champk etc in English. 😍 Haven’t read Harry Potter though. 🙈 Love the recommendations - not just the books but the breakdown of categories and genres. Great video. Looking forward to more book reconnections. 😊

The Alchemist is my motivation to read fiction, now a days... 😅 Though, I would also suggest "Diary of a Young Girl" by Anne Frank. It will make you journey through a teenager's mind during the World War II... (It's NOT a history book! It's rather collection of diary entries of a teenager) Happy Reading!
