Fun fact, these aren't actually Shakira songs. They're original songs written by the contestants. Apparently they were all walking from the barn to the house, and on the walk BOOM! It just came to them

I think she may be forcing her voice. She is going for Shakira’s voice, which is very unique, and, to my ear, Edna’s voice doesn’t sound comfortable.

I don't really understand how this show works... I thought the judges's chairs turn around when they LIKE the singer... why did none of them turn around?

@@lorenzocantarel4922 The official language in Colombia is Spanish... pourquoi il a été écrit n'est pas clair du tout, puisque Shakira et Edna Gonzalez parlent parfaitement l'espagnol, puisque c'est leur langue maternelle. (Étant donné que Shakira vit en Espagne avec un mari espagnol).

Shakira's voice and her way of singing is unique. It's a big dilema when people covered shakira's song. - lost original identity. - fail to sing her song.

Monique Abaddie sang it her own way and even Shakira pointed out how different MA's Loca was from hers. But it was really good. Loca works as a super aggressive song too.

I don't think you understand what you're watching. This is The Voice, where people can show their own voice and what they can do with their voice. This is not a show where you have to sound like the singer of that song. It's all about their own voice.

@@ninaw3748i think that you don’t understand that some songs are made for one artist in particular, whenever wherever Suerte , for example is super ethnic , not anyone can make justice to that song, even if they have a great voice the song has an identity in itself and if u don’t really understand what u’re saying the song will sound flat, that happened here to both singers both versions lacked of spirit and connection

I feel like people don’t like the singers like Shakira. Hearing is raw a coach hears a deep cracking voice. But that’s how Shakiras voice is, in fact it’s one of the toughest voices to mimic and beautiful if perfected like the first contestant
